After my previous dining experience at Pici Central and Pirata, I was very excited to see that they opened Pici at New Town Plaza in Shatin. I ordered set B from the lunch menu, which includes a starter, pasta, dessert and soft drink. After ordering my lunch, I overheard the waiter (who took my order) offered a free tiramisu to the lady next to me (who didn’t order a set lunch with dessert) because the store is newly opened and they have extra tiramisu to give out to customers.

After a few pictures, I realized he gave me the wrong pasta as there was no seafood in it. The waiter apologized and said he will be back with the seafood tagliolini. When he returned with the pasta, he told me that there is no more tiramisu because a lot of customers ordered it. I was speechless because he told the lady next to me that they have extras to give out. I even ordered it before he offered the tiramisu to the lady next to me. Now I’m left with panna cotta or coffee. I didn’t want to have coffee, so my only choice was panna cotta (even though I’m not a big fan of it). He apologized and offered me a free hot chocolate. While I was enjoying my pasta and trying to forget that I won’t be able to try the tiramisu, the staff who was making pasta in front of me dropped a strand of uncooked pasta on my plate… 
I was once again speechless. He didn’t even realize that it flew to my plate. The waiter and staff apologized, the chef asked if I would like to have a new plate. I said no because I don’t want to wait for the 3rd time. After a while, the panna cotta and hot chocolate arrived. At the end, the waiter offered to pay for my meal, which was very kind of him, but I insisted to pay (it was my mistake coming here).
Overall, the food was okay and the whole team was very polite. However, I am not here for the free hot chocolate/meal, just get the order right and don’t give out extras when you don’t have extras.
