Today a friend took us to Xiangye, a Hunan cuisine specialist in Mei Foo. Their level of spiciness would definitely satisfy fans of extra spiciness like me. ◆Stir-fried Beef
Signature dish. Tender and moist beef slices with loads of chili and garlic.
◆Farmer-killed Pig Dish
A mix of pork on one plate including pork slices, pig red, pork tripe and pork liver. The pork slices had a good meat to fat ratio with crunchy skin. Liver was cooked to perfection.
◆Stir-fried Cauliflower
Full of wok hay. Fried with slightly crispy pork lard. Another savory dish.
◆Steamed Rice
Simply delish. Fragrant with a chewy texture. I rarely eat rice and this time I finished almost 2 bowls!
Overall outstanding food quality. Cheap prices too. Highly recommending Xiangye to all of you spicy lovers.
