Today a friend took us to Xiangye, a Hunan cuisine specialist in Mei Foo. Their level of spiciness would definitely satisfy fans of extra spiciness like me. Signature dish. Tender and moist beef slices with loads of chili and garlic.
◆Farmer-killed Pig Dish
A mix of pork on one plate including pork slices, pig red, pork tripe and pork liver. The pork slices had a good meat to fat ratio with crunchy skin. Liver was cooked to perfection.
◆Stir-fried Cauliflower
Full of wok hay. Fried with slightly crispy pork lard. Another savory dish.
◆Steamed Rice
Simply delish. Fragrant with a chewy texture. I rarely eat rice and this time I finished almost 2 bowls!
Overall outstanding food quality. Cheap prices too. Highly recommending Xiangye to all of you spicy lovers.
