My wife and I had dinner in this restaurant in October. The waiter with black mask, beard and wearing glasses totally ruined the experience. We asked for some water , and he replied “Get the water yourself.” We said we were ready to order, but he coldly threw back two words “Order yourself.” (He said in Cantonese)We were shocked.His attitude of CONTEMPT went far beyond what my words could express. His attitude of CONTEMPT went far beyond what my words could express. His manner was so rude even the customer next to our table gave him a puzzling look. But he seemed totally fine with it, as if he enjoyed or had grown accustomed to treating customer this way - giving command to the clients to follow.
I have been living in HK for more than seven years. This is the worst dining service I have ever had. Regardless of the restaurant’s pricing and positioning, such attitude is disrespectful and completely unacceptable.
I’m not sure how much training this water had received and how much service supervision this restaurant had put in place. ALL I remember tonight is the coldness and shocking rudeness unapologetically presented by this waiter.
My first meal here has turned into my last visit.
