I decided to go with chicken wings, sausages, and lettuce as my toppings and I ordered rice vermicelli which had a nice chewy texture. The broth had a nice balance of savory and curry flavors with a port soup base. I also liked that the portion size was generous without being overwhelming. A cheap, filling and yummy choice for sure.
🥣Hong Kong-style faux shark's fin soup
This soup really brought back my childhood memory with the most local street snack. The soup had a nice savory flavor with a thick soup texture. Full of ingredients and mushrooms, all had a nice chewy texture that added a nice bonus to the soup.
🥟Hong Kong-style cheung fun and siu mai
The cheung fun was steamed to soft and delicate and texture, yet still had a nice chewy texture that paired well with the sauce. The sweet sauce especially tastes sweeter than other typical stores. The fish siu mai was also delicious - the fish filling was savory and had a nice umami flavor, and the dumpling wrapper was thin and delicate. I enjoy the chewy texture of the dish.
