With the pandemic dining restrictions, eating out has sadly been limited to lunches on weekends for me. This time, I was around the K11 Musea looking for something to eat. We walked by this ramen shop and decided to check it out. The menu isn't very big, with mostly ramen options. As we don't eat pork, we settled for the rice sets instead of the ramen. I ordered the Grilled Eel Set, it came with plain rice and furikake, a side salad and some pickles.
The pieces of unagi were thick and juicy! It's hard to find a nice fat cut of eel these days, it was seasoned well too. Really enjoyed it and tasted really nice on rice. However, when it came, it was barely warm, not sure if it's supposed to be served like this but I thought it could've come hotter😢
The side salad had crab meat, kewpie mayo, fish roe and mixed vegetables. It was good, and a good portion too. I don't like it when side salads are just a couple leaves so this was great and dressed well too👍Deep-fried Oyster Cutlet Set 吉列炸蠔定食 $138

My bf ordered the fried oyster set, it also comes with rice, a side salad and pickles.
The set came with 4 large pieces of fried oysters on top of cabbage. We could tell that these were made-to-order, the oysters came piping hot and came really quickly too. The oysters were cooked perfectly, the coating was crispy and the oyster itself was really juicy too. It came with a standard japanese tonkatsu dipping sauce too. Overall, a pretty decent meal. You could tell it was made using quality ingredients and each item was prepared with care. My only comment was that the sets were served too far apart. The time between the oyster set and the eel set had to be at least 10mins. We wanted to wait for both to come so we could eat together, but the oysters were getting too cold. When the eel set came, it wasn't super hot either so not sure what happened there.
