One of my friends told me that there was a popular Chinese restaurant in Yuen Long and i should go try it. 烤魚工房 was located at Kau Yuk Street, where alot of nice eateries were located.When i reached at only 630pm, it was already very crowded and people queuing outside. Not wanting to wait that long, i decided to take away. They specialized in grilled fish hot plate and skewer etc.Since we were eating spicy food, we ordered yakult smoothie and lychee drink. Skewed oysters with garlic - Oysters were fat in size and were juicy and smooth, and garlic helped to enhance the taste.
Skewed scallops with garlic - Vermicelli was placed on top, and it was skewed till very tasty.Combined with garlic, it was spicy and chewy in taste.
We ordered few skewers such as grilled prawn, ox tongue, lamb and octopus. We requested for medium spicy and true to their words, they were very spicy to our liking. They were grilled till flavourful and were chewy and tender.
Fish skin in wasabi - It was soft in texture, and yet chewy. Dipped in wasabi sauce, it was spicy and appetizing as well.
Mala beef shank - It was cut till thin in texture and dipped in mala gravy, it was really spicy and chewy, tender as well.
Chongqing noodle with shredded chicken - Noodle was chewy and spicy and shredded chicken was soft and smooth too.
