FOOD : For the quality and cuts of sushi given, the price is rather expensive. It's not bad but it's not value for money. For example, toro cut may be somewhat stringy; uni is little bitter, akami is quite good. however, temperature of sushi is warmer than I prefer. (fish is not cold enough). Sushi quality at Kenjo, Tensho definitely better (and cheaper).If you are focused in Central, even Kiku is sometimes better. Cooked food is rather ordinary (katsu, tempura, chawanmushi). DECOR: Decor at Sushi U is bright, comfortable and very Japanese. This is pleasant and quiet environment. Slightly sterile feeling, though.
SERVICE: Friendly wait-staff, who are eager to please
VALUE: Not so good for dinner, slightly better for lunch
OVERALL: If you are Central and looking for Japanese food, this may be a choice but if you have time, there are definitely better places.
