經朋友介紹知道呢間日本餐做緊晚市半價,撞正女友生日就黎試下!環境唔錯,安排坐窗口位,但窗外冇景色!都係專心睇下有咩食好過.一打開真係全部食物半價呀!我同女友就係咁喪叫,就等女友開心下啦!食物質素真係唔錯,我地叫左我最鍾意食既三文魚,加州卷,赤貝,深海池魚,什錦天婦羅.而女友就叫左帶子,海膽,牡丹蝦,中吞拿魚腩,辣吞拿魚卷,茄子田樂,燒銀雪魚.因為半價既關係,女友叫野食都豪氣D....仲送雪糕比我地食,女友開心到死埋單只係六百左右咋,講都唔信呀!!! 繼續閱讀

I always like to try new restaurants but when my friend suggested going to Sushi U, I was a bit concerned as I don't eat raw fish. Most good sushi restaurants serve mainly raw ingredients but my friend assured me there were lots of cooked dishes at Sushi U. She was right as when I got there, there was a whole page of choices of cooked lunch sets. The lunch set came with the salad bar which had lots of fresh vegetables and I like Japanese salad dressing very much, so that was a nice surprise.The other treat is that there is a soya milk tower at the salad barThe best thing in the salad bar was the crunchy croutons, they were so nice with the Japanese dressingI ordered my favourite eel rice set which came with a soup udon and steam egg chawamushiWell, I concentrated on my eel rice and donated my udon and steam egg to friendsFriend A had the wagyu beef set which I tried and thought very tender and tastyI liked the sauce with the beef, it had a slightly sour taste from vinegar and mashed gingerFriend B's sashimi set is probably what the restaurant is more famous for as it was brought out by the Japanese chef himselfThere was coffee ice cream as dessert and it was refreshing and replaced the need for a cup of coffee.Everyone thought their food was excellent, fresh, authentic and the place very clean and bright. We considered joining the VIP club but decided once you have a VIP card, you are obliged to come and would probably end up not coming. Rather, we can try for the promotion where if you arrive at the restaurant before 1230, you can order a special set which allows you to try a few different items for $200. 中環既日本料理眾多, 走中高檔路線既選擇亦唔少,今次揀左鮨雄.日本菜不外乎魚生壽司天婦羅及燒物, 面對眾多選擇難以取捨,倒不如點個套餐.中價套餐包括前菜,4件厚切tuna sashimi, 炸蝦tempura , 迷你海鮮井, 蝦既茶碗蒸,4件壽司及甜品一客.前菜幾精緻,都係d醱瓜/醃菜之類,仲有一小碗木魚絲配豆腐,味ok.tuna sashimi我只食2片腩位,較深紅的2片讓俾朋友食,魚腩冇想像中多油份, 還好係厚切, 口感滿足.tempura用一小籃送上, 份量唔多,有炸蝦,炸蕃薯,炸茄子,炸冬菇,炸青椒等等,炸漿唔算好厚, 但唔夠熱,味只屬可以.再來一度茶碗蒸, 賣相幾靚, 夠熱,但唔算好特別.而且又係蝦,有d悶另一熱食係迷你井, 有帶子,尤魚及三文魚, 飯軟硬適中, 淡淡滲出魚香,好味,我食光一個之後上4件壽司, 開始飽了 只食下2件.而且冇驚喜可言最後甜品方面,我唔太欣賞. 雪糕冇問題,係d雜果有問題.竟然用類似罐頭雜果來伴雪糕?!!!我最討厭黃色既桃粒, 見到都倒胃 其實一球正中日本雪糕可能更討好, 真係多鬼餘,立時down grade左此中高價餐廳!晚市消費唔平, 以上套餐都$600位(一位起), 另外order左支180ml熱sake, 盛惠$260, 2人消費近$1600,以此價錢我期望食物水準更高. 未試過既可以一試,畢竟環境,服務都幾滿意. 繼續閱讀

原打算再訪豚王,一解拉麵癮,可惜竟發現已關門!門上未有任何通告說是什麼原因未有開門...唯有到處碰碰看有什麼好吃的。由於不想再吃秀拉麵(跟豚王相比真的遜太多了),所以便沿路慢慢找。找到了這家鮨雄,午市正在做港幣$298的All you can eat套餐,煞是吸引,於是便進去了。笠門一開,便有一名操日本語的男士問我們是否已訂枱,感覺很正宗的樣子;不過正宗不正宗還是要吃過其食物才知道。店裡沒有難聞氣味,真的好怕到某些有油煙味呀濃烈食送味的食肆,食完只消讓人聞一下便知道你方少吃過什麼。甫坐下,我們根本不需用腦,直接地order了兩個all you can eat套餐。套餐包了任食沙拉,男友去了一趟,說菜十分新鮮,而汁醬則調教得很特別,是在別家吃不到的口味;但那天我完全不想吃蔬菜,就沒添,所以也沒有評語。直接去主食吧。基本上menu上的所有壽司手卷等也叫了一遍,好吃!魚,非常的鮮味;紫菜,夠脆!用料不會小家,以海膽手卷為例,從頂到底也吃到海膽,著實是味之感動!愛吃海膽人士一定不可錯過!個人來說,比較喜歡那裡的手卷和壽司。兩個大胃王不停的吃吃吃,最後還來一球雪糕作句點。大滿足耶!有機會一定會再去的唷。 繼續閱讀

It has been a long while, but this is the first lunch I had been to at Sushi U. It is satisfying that kept me revisiting this restaurant ever since. Thus, I decided to add this old post in Openrice.It was a catch up lunch with friends. We ordered,Sashimi Set: the sashimi was fresh and the cut was nice. Six different options. scallop with tobiko; tuna was akami & toro; salmon; hamachi and kuruma ebi.Grill fish filet Set: the portion was just right in japanese standard. It was very juicy and the sauce coated on the grill fish was well balance with its sweetness.Katsudon Set: Ton katsu was well made. It is still juicy. Balance with the soft scrabble egg, it was very nice. One note, the eggs was very favorable itself. It does had the "egg" taste. Really appreciated restaurant that paid attention to small details. It does made the rice very different for true food lovers.One more note, if you get to set at the bar table, the sushi chefs there are actually very attentive and let you change the sushi or sashimi in your set upon requests. 繼續閱讀
