This noodle stall is near the Empire Hotel where I stayed in Hong Kong last week. On our first visit, I ordered the normal wanton mee which costed HKD24 and quite small bowl. My friend ordered the wanton mee with char siew which is much more in quantity and costed HKD33.1. The soup was sweet. Yum yum.2. Noodle was very Q and 彈牙. Very well done. Yummy.3. Wanton was just ok though. They mixed a bit of flour or fish paste with the prawns. I would personally prefer the wanton at Chee Kee at Mongkok

3. Wanton was just ok though. They mixed a bit of flour or fish paste with the prawns. I would personally prefer the wanton at Chee Kee at Mongkok which totally consist of prawns but the soup and noodle here at Wing Wah is better.
4. Char siew could be better also. Taste like leftovers from the day before.
My boyfriend who's a wanton mee fanatic loves the wanton mee here so much so that we had to come here a second time before we left Hong Kong. We found it cheap.
I tried the special 竹笙soup on my second visit which cost HKD30. Soup was a bit salty. I'm not sure what is 竹笙but it did taste like fish maw and rather soft. The wanton mee soup did not taste as sweet as it was the first time so probably there are inconsistencies in terms of food quality.
We would come back for the noodles if we visit Hong Kong again.
