Been seeing this place all over IG in the past few weeks and finally decided to make a visit. Tried their lunch set, which was very reasonably priced at only $98 for 2 courses and $118 for three. For starter I had the porchetta tonnato, which was slices of slow-cooked pork belly and tuna mayo sauce. It was alright, I just prefer the veal version. For starter I had the porchetta tonnato, which was slices of slow-cooked pork belly and tuna mayo sauce. It was alright, I just prefer the veal version. The main event is, of course, the pizza, and I chose the most basic Margherita. It was really not bad, with thin crunchy crust and a soft, pillowy outer ring, and the mozzarella was quite high quality too. However, major complaint is that the bottom of the crust was utterly burnt, and I had to ask to change TWICE before it got better. But for this flaw this would have been an enjoyable meal. They did however apologise and offer a tiramisu for free. I hope this was just an accident (was it?) or that in any case they have learnt from it and avoid similar mistakes in the future. Might still come back to try out their other pizzas, but I won't be hurrying.
