If you are a fan of spiciness and “ma-la”, Kikanbo is the ramen shop you have to visit. Their miso soup base is super thick and flavourful. Customers can choose their own levels of spiciness and sancho pepper so you can still go for the non-spicy option like me if you are not a fan of spiciness. My favourite thing of the ramen would be the slow-cooked pork belly. The pork bellies are really cooked with sweet soy sauce and the meat itself is really tender and soft as there is a high proportion of fat. If I happen to visit next time, I will surely add an extra portion of pork belly to satisfy my crave!
