It was a bad experience. We only determined to try this restaurant at the last minute. In the morning, I called the cafe and the waiter said all bookings were full. I asked if we can walk in, she said yes. So at 7 pm, I arrived earlier on my own, and get a waiting ticket. The man told me that I was on the 3rd table and should be able to get sit down by 7:30 pm. So I just stood near the counter and waited. 15 minutes have passed, all the waiting people have gone their seats, even for those who ar
We only determined to try this restaurant at the last minute. In the morning, I called the cafe and the waiter said all bookings were full. I asked if we can walk in, she said yes. So at 7 pm, I arrived earlier on my own, and get a waiting ticket. The man told me that I was on the 3rd table and should be able to get sit down by 7:30 pm. So I just stood near the counter and waited.
15 minutes have passed, all the waiting people have gone their seats, even for those who arrived later than me. I was thinking maybe I have three people and we needed a larger table than those with two, that's why I need to wait for longer. I can understand.
But after that at 720pm, the man come to me and said : "you can now get in, but you need to finish the dinner at 830 pm." It is radiculous, you are a cafe and how come you can force your customer to finish the dinner with 1 hour and 10 minutes. And he knew that my friends re still coming. If this is the case, he should tell me at the very first beginning. I double confirmed with him if we really have to return the table at 0830pm. He said, lets wait until 730pm, I will tell you. I think, ok, i have waited for 20 minutes, 10 more minutes is not a problem to me.
And then I wait, .. till 730pm, the man didnt talk to me, just keep on busying with his stuff, but actually not much customers have come in. I am so angry. At least, you should tell me there is no table, and then I can go away to another restaurant.
10 more minutes passed but nobody spoke to me. My friend has arrived and I was super furious. I told her the case and we both walked out of the restaurant. And just a few steps away, the man went out and waved his hand to me. Okay,,, we didnt want to find another restaurant because we were tired. So we accepted his offer.
We got into the cafe, and found out that there were lots of space actually.. Just didnt let me in and keep me standing for more than half hour outside. What's a customer service.
Okay, we ordered the food:
1. Salad with truffle and cheese
It was a disaster, the salad is sweet and and the cheese is just like cream..
We asked why the cheese tasted like this, the waiter answered because it tasted like this. What answer is it.. And the portion is so that "Small"!!
2. Barbecue-sauced Chicken wings
Ok, this is acceptable, but there were only four wings.
3. Mussels in white wine and bread
Omg, another disaster. The smallest mussels I have ever seen .. And the sauce is very salty. Three of us cant eat the bread in salty water..
4. Shrimp Spagehetti
Ok, this is the best. Spagehetti is good.
It seems like we have eaten nothing .. and we decided to have another meal in another restaurant.
What's a disaster!
