The place was your typical ramen shop. A number of photos of ramen were on the wall and it was made up of mostly tables. Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. They have various types of ramen including tsukemen so there is something for everyone.  They also serve rice dishes.

Ordering is by checking off a piece of paper. The ramen is completely customizable. They also offer snacks and drinks. For $15, you can make it into a set which includes a drink and soup dumplings.

Like many ramen restaurants they have the usual condiments. But this was interesting. A kimchi made from bean sprouts. Very spicy and a good addition to liven up the bowl of ramen.

We shared some snacks while waiting.  This is the Japanese Cheese Rice Cake ($38) and these were fantastic. Crispy and chewy with lots of oozing cheese. There was also some condensed milk to dip into.

The Fried Chicken ($38) was well seasoned. Meat was juicy and coating was crunchy.

I had the Hai Lao Shrimp Miso Ramen ($88). You can choose the type of charshu so I wanted the thin cut style. Melt in your mouth and full of flavor. This is a rarity as most charshu I've had in Hong Kong were mostly bland. The soup was thick and rich. Lots of little sakura shrimp was on top to give it a some umami. Interesting enough, they added cabbage.

Boyfriend had the Black Garlic Yam Tonkatsu Ramen ($83) and chose a thick cut pork belly. If you love fat, this is it. It was all fat and you didn't even need to chew the meat. Boyfriend felt it was the best thing in the bowl. The soup was rich with  heavy pork base. There was some gritty yam shaved in as well. Hidden away was a spoonful of black garlic oil.

The ramen came with a whole egg that was very good. A bit on the sweet side but the yolk was excellent.

Huge portions and a generally good bowl of ramen. No wonder it's been here forever. It also appeared the diners were regulars as they sat down and the staff knew them by name.
