Our server started us off with a saline seagrape salad to cleanse the palate. The texture was was interesting and unlike anything I've ever had before.
This was followed up by a serving a various saltwater fish sashimi, excluding the typical commercial fatty fish such as tuna and salmon for more traditional varieties such as mackerel. It was undoubtedly fresh and left me with a much greater appreciation for more exotic fish.
Their signature is a sea urchin donburi, which is heaped with generous amounts of uni on top of their signature rice with wasabi and seaweed laver strips on the side. This allowed for convenient, mess-free handling for mouth sized bites of sea urchin. The contrast between the acidity of the vinegar and sweetness of the sea urchin is definitely something not to be missed. Presentation is deceptively small, sprinkled with golden flakes, but it can easily leave a single person feeling satisfied. It's a personal recommendation of mine and one I would definitely come back to again.
