Great Quality in New Style !! Well done !!

There are so many choices in CWB, and with Firebird opening for a while, I felt so bad I can only meet this bird today... Surely that it is a bit under-rated... as the food quality and service level were both great... ... and I was so surprised that some nice cocktail can also be ordered here...  which is quite unusual for most Japanese restaurant, and so, I really enjoy dining here.. Sangria ... how can we see you in Japanese restaurant... and the taste is not bad too... so, just this glass of

 Sangria ... how can we see you in Japanese restaurant... and the taste is not bad too... so, just this glass of drink will be the reason for me to come back soon... and we are lucky that we can order a lot more tonight for 3 of us to share... also a good chance to test the kitchen here...

 Starting by their Salad - Firebird Salad... which is quite a nice mix of western and eastern dishes... The Icy Vegetable has been a very good partner  with the Fresh Tomato , and the crispy photo and the eggs just neutralise it well..

 Can't imagine that the first dish has already surprised us so much... not a general salad, while the second dish can be a bit easier for us to enjoy...as tall the parts are familiarised... Fatty Salmon, Scallop, both of them are quite fresh and tasty, while the Shrimp is the best... and I am lucky that 2 of the best part are finished by me... Yeah..

 And when we dig out and found that they have used the secret sauce we all like, we were all conquered by this simple dish ... as the special mustard and mayonnaise sauce just go so well with the Salmon rolls...  and three of us didn't spend much time to finish the whole dish, I will recommend it to all, as it's just so tasty... and easy for everyone..

 While for the traditional dish, it's not bad as well, the kitchen team is creative, but also good in making nice dishes.  This Teppan Tofu is good too, though, for me the taste was a bit too light... or maybe our expectation was just been raised... ha ha.. 
Clams cooking in Sake

 Here comes another dish that I cannot forget easily... as most of the clams in Sake are only good for eyes and nose, but not for our mouth... but this one is a bit different.  Not only the clam is big and tasty, fresh, I have to emphasise, but the soup ...

The Yakitori here is nice too, and the choice of beef is also at the premium side... we were all happy about it.. not too burned, but the moist can still be kept well in the meat... well done.

 ... and now, another nice dish to come... however, it's just a bit too late in the timing.... as I super like Pot Rice, and I have to say that I regret that I have taken too much before this dish to come... and so, felt so guilty...

 ... and I recommend it to take it slowly, not only because i am full already, but the soft rice, the mild taste, and then putting the Salmon Roe on top of it, ... making it a very nice and warm feeling overall... I love it.
Deep fried Sweet Potato

 Too bad that we can't accommodate any more dessert tonight, as we were finishing the dinner too quick, putting more than enough dishes into our stomach, and so, as recommended by the shop manager, we just take this snack to clear our taste, and finish our drink... 


It's quite a nice experience tonight, and I wish that I can meet this lovely FireBird earlier... well done, the kitchen team, and I am looking forward to try some of their new ideas later very very soon...
