The shop features marinated goose but if you don't like goose, you may pick duck, or even chicken wings! Some non meat items like tofu and eggs can also be found on the menu for a very affordable price !
We have picked up a box of mixed goodness including some marinated goose that has been chopped up, pig head meat, egg, chicken wings, and tofu!
The goose has been chopped up into big pieces and the tender meat is covered under a layer of skin, making things even more buttery and flavourful!
The tofu is the firm kind of tofu with a tougher texture. The soya bean taste is subtle, because the strong marination has been absorbed in the tofu.
The pig head meat has a chewier texture and a slightly higher in fat content. Super succulent and indulging at the same time.
The marinated chicken pieces are moist and soft. Nothing beats good chicken with Chow Zhou marinated sauce.
The marinated halved eggs are marinated until dark brown colour. The soft texture was just great to enjoy on its own or with a bowl of rice. One of my favourite items on the menu!
The price is pretty reasonable for this amount of food. With tofu and egg for just $10 a piece, $134 could feed a few people with a full stomach for sure!
