Summary: Not that this place needs any more positive reviews, but their lunch omakase is an incredible value and well worth a walk over to Sheung Wan. I have not tried their considerably more expensive dinner menu, but for $400, i'm not sure there's a better sushi lunch in town. Note how heavy they are on seared, fatty sushi, which could be a plus or minus for you. Reservations are a must for weekdays, but Saturday are usually fine for walk-ins.I've now tried this place 3 times for lunch, all ha
I've now tried this place 3 times for lunch, all having the same 14 piece omakase lunch. Two times were excellent and once was just okay, though I couldn't tell you exactly what made each better or worse.
Here's the menu (thanks FavouriteFoodLife):

Here's what comes with the $398 omakase sushi lunch:
Salad, chawanmushi, soup and yuzu sorbet. The chawanmushi is particularly good.
Tai, Akagai and Shima Aji
Scallop, Seared Kinmedai, Shrimp (Botan Ebi)
Seared Barracuda (kamasu), Aji, Crab
Uni, Ikura, Seared Sablefish (Gindara)
Seared O-Toro, Engawa
Overall, this is a terrific sushi meal for a very decent price. If this was dinner (and it very well could be), i'd call it one of HK's greatest bargains; as it is, it's one of HK's great sushi lunches. While it's lacking in balance; way too many grilled or fatty sushi and not nearly enough white or shining-fish; it's what people like, so who am I to complain? It also covers all the omakase classics, so whoever you bring won't be complaining they didn't get their ikura or toro. At the price, you could have it 3-4 times for the same price as a dinner omakase somewhere else. Highly recommended.
