I had high hopes for this restaurant seeing the great reviews on OpenRice. But the truth is this place is a total rip-off. We ordered the berry pancakes and the banoffee pie. The berry pancakes turned out to be a single pancake, which for $80 is an absolute scam. And it wasn’t even a good pancake, it was essentially a flat Yorkshire pudding. We ordered the berry pancakes and the banoffee pie. The berry pancakes turned out to be a single pancake, which for $80 is an absolute scam. And it wasn’t even a good pancake, it was essentially a flat Yorkshire pudding.
The other dish we ordered was the banoffee pie which previous reviewers had really highly rated, but when it arrived it looked nothing like the picture and turned out to be an awful, tiny chocolate tart with cheap popcorn on the top. So when we queried this with the waitress she said that they have stopped selling that banoffee pie, but didn’t tell us this when we ordered it. For $70 something dollars I was really disappointed that they had changed the menu without telling us.
I will not be going back.
