The decor of this restaurant is quite interesting. From the outside, I could not tell if it was a car showroom or a restaurant. I still couldn't really tell when I got inside! There was a car inside the restaurant, and more empty space than table and chairs.It was tea time but we were given the lunch menu. It was tea time but we were given the lunch menu. Since it was quite confusing, my friend and I only ordered 1 creme brulee to try. After ordering, we saw the tea set menu on the wall...
Looking around in the restaurant, parts of the decor were a bit weird. There were glass cake stands around the cashier. From a distance I was excited, thinking it might be some cookie/brownie. Instead, it was stuffed full of tea bags and pasta.
Anyway, the creme brulee came after around 5-10 minutes.
The toppings of the creme brulee was not as appetizing as the previous photos. When I tried to scoop my first spoon on creme brulee, the spoon made a loud tap. The hard layer of caramel is extremely thick and hard. It took more than a few taps to take it apart. The caramel layer was not sweet enough, and rather a bit bitter.However, the inside was very smooth. Not too sweet, and could definately taste the flavours of natural eggs (not custard powder).
The price is reasonable considering it is in Causeway bay and the size is alright.
