When in HK, trying traditional BBQ pork (char siu) and crispy pork belly (siu yuk) is a must. After researching lots of restaurants, I decided to try Joy Hing Roasted Meat.We went on a monday for dinner and were seated immediately. Atmosphere is loud, hectic, a classic HK restaurant. The waitress was actually helpful and the food came after a few minutes. We ordered char siu faan + siu yuk and milk tea.The char siu was amazing, fatty but not too fatty and I loved the char siu flavor. No need to

The char siu was amazing, fatty but not too fatty and I loved the char siu flavor. No need to say a lot here. The siu yuk however was too fatty and greasy in my opinion. It was definitely crispy but after having the crispy bite it was like chewing on a chunk of fat and little meat. I read somewhere that you can add "less fat" when ordering siu yuk, so maybe that‘s a good option! It was so greasy that I couldn‘t finish it all
The milk tea was delicious. Overall, it wasn’t too expensive, I think we paid about 200$. Would probably come back
