ATUM’s latest venture, a camping-themed yakiniku eatery has just launched in K11 Art Mall. Aiming to provide diners a fervent wild-camping experience, the restaurant is anchored with large canopies and tents, with glistening string lights illuminating the area. The adventure couldn’t get more legitimate when tablewares, water bottles and utensils were all camping gears; and you are surrounded by Aztec prints. The quality of cuts in the beef platter was excellent with beautiful marblings and juicy tenderness, not to mention the velvety, melt-in-the-mouth A5 Miyazaki Sirloin that was a burst of umami with the truffle dip.
The pork belly had perfect fat-to-meat ratio with a bubbling and crackling exterior after grilling.
Packed with profuse crab roe and meat, the koura yaki infused our palates with intense buttery and sweet flavors.
We also couldn’t get enough of the seaweed rice that soaked up all the essences from the meat.
With an innovative concept and superb food quality, this new eatery provides a reprieve for travel lovers whose plans are altered due to the pandemic. It is sure to thrive in the course of time.
