Their recommendations are the hainan chicken rice and the 肉骨茶 bak kut teh. I ordered a bowl of seafood laksa noodles and a plate of belachan stir fried young Brussels sprout with two pineapple mint drinks along with the 2 recommendations. 🐓The hainan chicken was soooo tender even the chicken breasts were tender!! 🍲For the 肉骨茶 bak kut teh, we added $5 to upgrade to oil rice and I could proudly say that was the best decision we made 😆 It was finger-licking good. The taste of the chicken really sunk in but it wasn’t too heavy/ oily. The proportion of the rice was also huge. Not your average rice bowl. The soup was also good but I would prefer it to be more peppery. The stuffed tofu puff really absorbed the soup which made it extra delicious. It also came with 油炸鬼 for you to eat with the soup. It was surprisingly good!!
🍜The laksa noodles were acceptable but did not wow me. There were a ton of seafood though!
🥬The veggies were slightly undercooked and too salty for my liking.
The environment was clean and comfortable and the service was exceptional! They also served really quickly which was a bonus!!!
