This entry combined two of my frequent visits to the always-happy-smiling gentleman of the store, who undeniably deserves all the good ratings. Always greeting regulars with a big smile, may sometimes be forgetful you have to remind him the orders several times, or you may even need to go straight to the kitchen to do so, still you will rewarded back with the well-above standard homemade food later served. It has been long boasted as the signatures, even on magazines, silky smooth with good aroma of tea, served cold in glass bottle instead of mixing with ices, is one of the best in town.
Submarine with corned beef and fried egg
Unlike the usual one, it's also fried with spring-onion, adding a special aromatic flavor the already nicely tasted corned beef, the bun was specially bought from a bakery supply in Ap Lei Chau, soft but remained crispy after grilled. The generous size can be shared among 2 persons.
French toast
Again, the white loaf bread used was bought from the bakery as mentioned above; the bread was first entirely soaked in the egg-yolk paste then slowed fried on pan to the gold-yellow, it's simply another hongkong styled divine.

This is another version, the filling still went really well with the white toasts.
Beef vermicelli
It does depends what kind of beef slices one like, this one is soft and tender, instead of the chewy one may like, the soup has no MSG but still retained its freshness and light-sweatness, together with lots of veggie, and what's more it's surprisingly cheap, definitely a nice treat for lunch
