As a farewell dinner with my friend, we have stopped by one of the hype up restaurants in Mong Kok. The restaurant is in the heart of Kowloon yet somewhat hidden in a building. My friend recommended me this dish before I come here. This dish is only available for a limited amount daily and we are lucky that we can try it today. The tamagoyaki is very moist and I can almost say juicy in the middle. Layers of sweet eggs wrapping some small pieces of lobster meat in the middle.

The juiciness is over the top of this dish. The texture is impressively enjoyable. It’s a light dish because it’s not cheesy at all so it’s perfect for share among two people.

Their lobster rolls looks decent with a good portion of of buttered bun and lobster meat stuffed inside. The roll is served with french fries + sweet potato fires and lemon butter. The bread is nicely toasted until crispy on the outside, while the lobster meat is fresh with a strong sea water taste.

I have had a few lobster rolls before, I must say that they have the most solid bread because it’s not airy nor buttery that would literally disappear once you bite into it. The bread roll blended with the lobster meat nicely and it’s a mouthful of luxurious taste. I also liked their light lemon butter sauce which brings out extra freshness of the lobster meat.

Apple crumble is one of the highlighted dessert on their menu. Instead of chunks of apple, thinly sliced apple pieces are placed at the bottom of the skillet, with crumbs and oats sprinkled on top, served with a scoop of quality vanilla ice cream with actual vanilla seed, then drizzle with maple syrup. The portion size is not huge so we still had space for it after a very satisfying carb filled meal.

Day Dreamer Honey $58

We have found that this is the shortest cocktail on the menu which is made from honey, lemon juice, rosemary, soda, gin, and sea-salt on the rim. It’s very refreshing with a light sweet and sour taste. The gin is not too strong and the whole drink is nicely balanced. One is simply not enough so we have also ordered anohter cocktail.

This is limited cocktail only served during the Valentine’s Day. Again, it’s a refreshing drink with a refreshing floral and fruity flavour. The soda and champagne is not too much that it would give you an overly fizzy feeling. I am quite impressed with their cocktails despite that the fact that they highlight their lobster food items.

Though it looks like a cafe style restaurant in Mong Kok that attracts the young generation, it is a good restaurant serves good food and drinks. I have also seen other customers enjoying other non-alcoholic drinks like tea and shakes and they are pretty big in size! I would highly recommend you for their drinks as well as their lobster tamagoyaki because they are just much better than we expected!
