Having tried the Square next door, we naturally wanted to try their sister restaurant, though it probably comes out of the same communal kitchen anyway.We ordered a lot of food for 3 people. Started off with saliva chicken which was tender and tasty, the sauce was a little thicker and not just doused with chili oil. We ordered a lot of food for 3 people. Started off with saliva chicken which was tender and tasty, the sauce was a little thicker and not just doused with chili oil. The bean curd sheet rolls were lightly flavoured with a touch of sweetness, and very moist and light.

We moved onto the dim sum: prawn cheung fun, and a conpoy-egg white-mushroom cheung fun which was quite interesting and tasty with a very nice "skin" (not too thick to be chewy and doughy, but not too thin that it can't hold the filling inside), some wonton in chicken soup (mostly the skin with very little filling), a dish of choi sum, some spring roll with 九肚魚 (actually it doesn't come with the normal rice paper skin, but more like a light batter encasing a very tender fillet of fish), a turnip cake (see below), har gau, char siu bao, vegetarian dumplings and vegetarian steamed buns, a hot and sour soup (hit the right balance of both flavours), a dan dan noodle, a spring onion 撈麵 lo mein and a chicken 煨麵 wui mein.

And for good measure we ordered a pan fried 蘆魚 wrapped in spring onion and dressed with a sweet soy sauce (superb texture to the fish, succulent but breaks away in flakes).

I enjoyed everything, and each dish was flavourful enough but never overpowering.

Service was generally acceptable except they mixed up a 蘿蔔絲酥餅糕 with a 蘿蔔糕 (like, could you not even read the boxes I ticked?), and despite checking with us twice which TWO kinds of vegetables we want, only 1 dish came. And we had to remind them to remove one of the vegetables from the bill.

They have a nice selection of tea leaves, we had a 碧螺春 that comes in a glass teapot and dinky glass cups and saucers.
