Sorry readers, i cannot type chinese very fast, so i choose to type in english.there is only 5 words which i could describe this shop - 貼錢買難受.i have been to this shop for more than 5 times, takeaway and dine-in, i must admit that their 牛腩湯係非常好味, 好濃,好有牛肉味,but if you are not good friend of the owner or the waiter or if you are not 熟客....i advise you better not go, because no matter what you order , for instance if you order 牛腩河(they will give you very 韌or shit 牛腩),if you order 半肥河(you will expect

i have been to this shop for more than 5 times, takeaway and dine-in, i must admit that their 牛腩湯係非常好味, 好濃,好有牛肉味,but if you are not good friend of the owner or the waiter or if you are not 熟客....i advise you better not go, because no matter what you order , for instance if you order 牛腩河(they will give you very 韌or shit 牛腩),if you order 半肥河(you will expect 2 or 3 slices of 韌牛腩which is still ok, and the rest is only pure fat cubes),if you order 全肥河(oh...it's only for someone who want to kill themselves in 6 months' time). More, the attitude of the waiter and the one at the cashier is very very bad. We, as readers of this openrice website, i believe are people who wants to enjoy food with friends and be happy all the times, we expect restaurant to serve us with good food and to be served politely. if you can withstand the 惡劣態度of the waiter , please go and enjoy = )
Some additional word of advise,
1)If you are not going for the 爽腩, i advise not go (BUT EVEN IF YOU ASK, THEY WILL ALWAYS SAY THEY DON'T HAVE IT)
2)Don't ask for the 咖哩牛腩伊, IT'S no good, 牛腩碎過布碎．
3)they always say there was no 河, but i think they do it for a purpose, to make you go the 2nd time until you can get the 河you want (just my guess)
4)if you ask why i complain some much about this shop and still go 5 times and buy takeaway ? my answer is because i believe they have the ability to make good 牛腩&爽腩, and i was always giving them chances to improve hoping everytime that it was only my unlucky day to be treat in such a way, but after 5 times, i don't believe co-incident which happens 5 times, and i finally make my decision to never go back, it's a shame that they have got good traditional method to make very delicious 牛腩, but choose to be arrogant and be rude to cutomers.
5) but don't worry, because they were still plenty of people in hk who want to go there because of their 名氣, let's hope they can improve but for me, 九記is a definite black-listed shop for me.
Apologise if my opinion hurts some of the 九記die hard fans, bye for now = )
