朋友推薦後,呢日終於黎食個下午dunch ,可惜環境令人失望😥Menu 只有brunch set, 只需要選hot dish 就可以。 食物味道很有特色,質素不差,只是被環境完全糟塌。服務生安排了一個連座卡位,座位十分不舒適,而且隔離位仲時不時咳,un 腳同郁來郁去,令連坐的我非常難受,所以食完starter 已經無心情食落去。

We came here for a weekday brunch for anniversary celebration. The brunch price was reasonable considering inclusion of 90 minutes free flow of wine, Prosecco and lemonade. The service has been amazing throughout. All the staff, from receptionist to servers and possibly the owner were all super professional and friendly. Each dish is introduced and explained as they were served. We booked this place through openrice pretty last minute and I simply ticked the anniversary button without much expec

To our surprise, a surprise complimentary cake was prepared for us. The staff took a Polaroid for us together with a handwritten greeting card with signatures from multiple staff. It opens till late night during weekdays and you’re recommended to make reservation if you’re dining on weekend evenings.


Their service is extremely outstanding. Our server was very welcoming and attentive. Nonetheless, service charge is not inclusive in the bill. I like the idea that the extra tips we give will go to their staff directly.

The only thing that I can pick on will be the location, which its entrance is right next to the lift lobby of an office building. The washroom is kind of unsanitary and it’s located outside the restaurant..

Other than that, we had an exquisite experience in this notable restaurant after all!

Another of Pirata’s restaurants, Tokyolima does Japanese-Peruvian fusion (or Nikkei cuisine) and offers a pretty big mishmash of a brunch on weekends at $395 per person. The ten dishes included in the brunch are bright and colorful and flavors are mostly rich with a spicy and refreshing kick, perfect for the weather. We loved the picanha steak, the seabass ceviche and salmon tartare with yellow chilli causa. Pork belly mini bun with chimichurri and “Ki-mo-chi” fried chicken were crunchy and savorous. The brunch selection is fun for those who are too tired to make decisions on what to eat, but you’d need to be ready for stuff you may not like too much. You’d also need to pretend that this is neither a Peruvian nor Japanese restaurant, as Nikkei is really neither.  While the idea of a Nikkei cuisine is still working hard to gain a foothold worldwide, with such culinary diversity in Peru and Japan, the kitchen has a huge toolkit from which to create a flavorful experience, trading in authenticity for innovation and excitement. What is authentic is a fuzzy idea anyway and depends on context, but let’s leave the gastro-politics for another time.

The dining experience seems more like an Americanized izakaya and service is pretty good all around. For an extra $180, you also get free-flow champagne, Asahi and various regional alcoholic drinks. Pretty much every table at Tokyolima is spotted with champagne glasses and the place is buzzing with lots of chatter and weekend excitement.

T-3, mixed leaf salad with pumpkin, quail egg, heirloom confit tomato, fennel, almonds and crispy glass noodles
A texture rich dish with crunchy almonds, crispy noodles, smooth pumpkin dices and juicy tomatoes.
Salmon tartare with yellow chilli causa and ginger mayo
This was particularly interesting as ginger mayo is uncommon. Causa is a Peruvian mashed potato terrine and it lends a nutty depth to the tartare. Very good.
Seabass ceviche with tiger’s milk, coriander, red onion and cancha 
I love ceviche, and this one doesn’t disappoint. Cancha is a Peruvian toasted corn snack (i.e. deep-fried corn kernels) and it adds a delicious crunch to the fish.
Tuna tartare with watermelon, avocado, soy citrus and sweet potato chips
The tuna is a bit bland, but the rest of the ingredients make up for it. Again, lots of color and crunch from the deep-fried sweet potato slices.

This was slow-cooked to extreme tenderness, and the coriander gravy was pretty addictive and satiating. But, having tried a slice of the picanha, I’d go for the grilled steak ten times out of ten.

星期六中午佢淨係serve brunch ,無得嗌a la carte,令到選擇困難症嘅人少樣煩惱,可以好好enjoy a relaxing brunch。加198仲有free flow,令人放鬆心情!呢間係秘魯菜同日本菜嘅fusion,好有特式,食材大多都係ceviche/sashimi。brunch分為4 courses,有兩轉appetizers,一個main同dessert,真係令人棒住個肚咁走。先講第一轉嘅頭盤。有日式炸雞,鵪鶉蛋沙律,三文魚番薯,同埋seabass 刺身粟米。第二轉有pork belly bun,吞拿魚刺身配番薯脆同吞拿魚牛油果sushi。吞拿魚刺身配番薯脆再加西瓜呢個配搭清新又特別。Main我地叫左rump steak同beef short ribs,steak水準之內,唔錯。beef short ribs係waitress極力推薦,果然真係好好食,非常入味之餘,亦都軟淋,入口即溶。甜品冇乜特別都係水果brownies同caramel mousses,所以冇影相。Free flow特別之處係佢有個mimosa station,有四款fresh juice俾

呢間係秘魯菜同日本菜嘅fusion,好有特式,食材大多都係ceviche/sashimi。brunch分為4 courses,有兩轉appetizers,一個main同dessert,真係令人棒住個肚咁走。

先講第一轉嘅頭盤。有日式炸雞,鵪鶉蛋沙律,三文魚番薯,同埋seabass 刺身粟米。

Main我地叫左rump steak同beef short ribs,steak水準之內,唔錯。beef short ribs係waitress極力推薦,果然真係好好食,非常入味之餘,亦都軟淋,入口即溶。

Free flow特別之處係佢有個mimosa station,有四款fresh juice俾你自製mimosa,有strawberry, lychee, mango, passionfruit!我地好鍾意呢個小小details位!Pirata group嘅餐廳真係好正啊!

呢間餐廳絕對係一個suprise,絕對可以再黎。仲要環境夠靚,價錢唔算好貴,慶祝生日既氣氛又正。不過真係要訂,基本上7點零已經full house,我哋差唔多9點走既時候都仲有人等緊。

總括而言,staff 非常殷勤,環境幾靚,食物雖然無話up to standard, 但無不過不失,Friday night 黎chill 下都係不錯嘅選擇!

summing up, the passionate service and adequate anti-epidemic measures kept us at ease. i must say that their location is immensely huge and majestic! totally on point and awfully cozy. truly a perfect site for a decent catch-up with friends or even business deals. the staff are always on-call and eager to answer questions so you might as well want to ask about the peruvian culture!
