This place has great atmosphere, deco and view!! However, the service is just AWFUL. Most of the waiters are pretentious and obnoxious. We asked for a table outside (for drinks) and we were told that the empty tables have been held by other customers who have not arrived. We were then ushered back into the bar area and when we requested to hold a table outside, another waiter told us that they cannot be reserved and are on a "first come first serve" basis. This is a beautiful restaurant filled with beautiful people. However it seems like they're having teething problems. The receptionist seated people from the same party at different tables. Orders were mixed up. Waiters dropped their food trays (more than once). Parts of the menu are from the old Joyce Cafe, but more expensive- the Shanghai wontons are $220 (6 in a bowl); most entrees are $200-$300 each and desserts are $100 and up.
