今年情人節同兩個朋友去咗一間意大利餐廳食情人節晚餐,間餐廳冇得訂位要walk in 情人節時間冇計因為太多人所以都要等左半個鐘入到去就即刻order左幾樣食物佢地最岀名係意大利麵,堅持選用優質食材,以保存食物的原有風味及新鮮度,令到顧客享受意大利菜式中最地道最真實的味道我地叫左orecchiette,Vitellotonnato ,pappardelle,chefs selection cold cuts同埋兩個甜品首先係orecchiette,呢個係我覺得好好識嘅貓耳朵意粉,意粉煮得好彈牙,加上濃濃芝士同番茄醬嘅配搭一啲都唔會食到好快飽之後vitello tonnato ,呢個真係好好食,牛肉同吞拿魚醬好Match, 中間有一隻生蛋,拌起上泥個口感好特別,因為有蛋既原因,會覺得黏黏地,牛肉切到一粒粒好有咬感Chef’s selection cold cuts都係必叫,火腿好新鮮配兩種芝士,係一絕既配搭,所以我地都叫左支紅酒,會令食物味道提升甜品都係好好食,呢個tiramisu, panna cotta做得好綿,我就鍾意tiramisu 多d,cream打得好滑,tiramisu 既冧

之後vitello tonnato ,呢個真係好好食,牛肉同吞拿魚醬好Match, 中間有一隻生蛋,拌起上泥個口感好特別,因為有蛋既原因,會覺得黏黏地,牛肉切到一粒粒好有咬感
Chef’s selection cold cuts都係必叫,火腿好新鮮配兩種芝士,係一絕既配搭,所以我地都叫左支紅酒,會令食物味道提升
甜品都係好好食,呢個tiramisu, panna cotta做得好綿,我就鍾意tiramisu 多d,cream打得好滑,tiramisu 既冧酒底唔會做得太濃既酒味,同cream mix up ,你會有一種好滿足嘅感覺

一直都想試下意大利手工意粉,所以今次去咗中上環嘅Pici 食意粉,見到好多人推薦,就有衝動想一試。六點walk in 食晚餐,果時人流唔算多。可能位於中上環區,所以staff都係外國人,要用英文溝通。我哋唔想諗咁多,所以點咗tasting menu ,包2個前菜,3個主餐,2杯甜品🍮,$290 一個人。首先,waiter 會送上麵包,有五六塊,都幾多,不過麵包硬咗少,點橄欖油同醋其實幾夾。我地叫咗starters 包括:Tuna tartare同radicchio salad 。tuna tartare 啲吞拿魚係生,切得細粒,不過食到有少少魚腥。radicchio salad,羊芝士一啲都無羊腥味,沙拉酸酸地好開胃。而主菜有ravioli carbonara丶tagliolini 同orecchiette。ravioli carbonara係流心嘅芝士蛋,一切開啲蛋汁流晒出嚟,而上層有濃郁芝士香,外皮有少少脆口同煙韌嘅感覺。tagliolini 係黑松露意粉🍝。原來一塊塊咁嘅黑松露味道係好淡,唔似平時食開咁好大松露味。不過意粉好滑,而且多幾啖都唔覺得油膩。整體比較清新。orecchi

ravioli carbonara係流心嘅芝士蛋,一切開啲蛋汁流晒出嚟,而上層有濃郁芝士香,外皮有少少脆口同煙韌嘅感覺。

tagliolini 係黑松露意粉🍝。原來一塊塊咁嘅黑松露味道係好淡,唔似平時食開咁好大松露味。不過意粉好滑,而且多幾啖都唔覺得油膩。整體比較清新。

想食意大利粉,每次都有人介紹Pici 當日約好和朋友遊逛大館,就決定來拜會piciMenu 其實不太多選擇,因為同朋友之後還有飯局所以只點了前菜,意大利粉和甜品黑松露意面-上菜時看到滿滿的松露已經覺得好興奮!一吃,和想像的不一樣原來以為好香濃的忌廉菌香,pici的黑松露意粉有一種清新輕盈的口味,松露香配上手工意粉的蛋香和彈牙的口感,和平時濃厚的松露意粉不同,但小妹感覺pici的調理方法將松露的清香更加突出,都唔會越食越膩反而越食越好味!但如果你期待係超濃厚的黑松露意粉,就可能會覺得失望

First experience in a western restaurant that the guest needs to complete before getting the table. The manager said he worked so many restaurants and this is always policy: the guest complete before can provide the table. It's like FASTFOOD RESTAURANT.  With this impolite manner to approach the customer, I guess he is too confident because the restaurant is a full house and no care at all. Other waitress is a very good service, the food is standard but no surprise at all. The restaurant is too

Overall, 大時大節人頭費$290,食物有水準,唔加一,一定是同區above average 啦

It’s been a while since my last food blog.. time to treat myself better as a mama!!Gosh the tagliolini truffle was AMAZING! Definitely worth adding the extra $ to order one. Of coz you cannot expect too much with the truffle but the pasta was just superb!! It was juicy, chewy and tinted with truffle powder. Smelled really good too! A must have item!Since I’m already talking about the main course.. might as well continue my compliments on the ravioli. Another amazing dish complemented with truffl

So among my buddies we shared the appetizers. We also added $ to get the burrata which tasted very much like buffalo cheese but didn’t feel like it was made with 100% buffalo milk so please correct me if I’m wrong. Regardless, it was yummy too!

There’s a set lunch menu and it’s a 3-course meal. We ordered two sets and the must eat vitello tonnato.
The beetroot salad was refreshing and the cold cuts were pretty decent as well! The main courses were really good. The lasagna was topped with a melted cheese and the sourness of the tomato really stood out. They made their own fresh pasta and they were really generous in the amount of truffles! The vitello tonnato was really impressive, thin sliced veal covered with tuna mayo. Personally I’m not a big fan of mayo but I pretty like this combination.
Lastly, it’s dessert time. Their tiramisu undoubtedly was pretty good, intense flavour of espresso but it was a bit too sweet. The panna cotta was milky and smooth and eating with the berries on top was perfect, Balancing the sweetness and the sourness.

Firstly the wait staff was, in her own words, ‘new’ - couldn’t explain which pasta dish she was delivering. In addition, she  delivered the wrong appetiser to us (actually we were the beneficiary). When the blonde manager deigned to come over, her first statement was that she heard us talking to the table next to us (who complained about her pappardelle pasta). I’m not sure why it mattered that we were talking, which we did. (Our neighbour noticed that we didn’t finish out pasta and asked if we had ordered the same. We said no, we had the pasta of the day which we had a problem with., we didn’t have the papardelle).

The manager went on to say we had finished our food. I said we didn’t, we left half the portions behind. She went off to verify that with the waitress. And then she changed tack again, and said that we were asked if the food was OK. We said no, we were never asked, in fact the waitress never said anything and just removed the plates. Which is whywe wanted to feedback about the food. As repeat customers that are fans of Pici, we felt this was unusual. She then went into this ‘well she said she asked..” and I can’t even be bothered to continue the conversation.

Dear Pici, we are 1) paying customers 2) we didn’t ask for insults to complement our meal 3) any feedback we can bebothered to give is for your benefit 4) clearly the food was off tonight and the right spirit would be to take that onboard and adjust rather than think 2 tables of perfect strangers were in cahoots 5) implying that your customers are liars is never a good thing.

有位朋友跟我說,若你喜歡意粉,你應該去嚐嚐pici。這句話令我記在心裡,真的想了解到底這店的意粉何方神聖,有著這樣的威力。我找了分店,發現中環就有一家,便找家人一起去試試看。那條pmq對面的斜樓梯,找了好一會兒,才發現錯過了。在門外等了不久就進店,因為看過了食評,想好了吃什麼。點了Classic Lasagna, Tagliolini, Tiramisu。麵包,沒有什麼特別。這就是肉醬千層麵,調味像太多了,也有點太焦。黑松露扁麵,也就是太咸了。最後吃的甜品,我沒有拍照,還滿大杯的,味道不算太深刻。這樣的定價有點太高,但不是所想像的好吃,所以是次失望而回。或許眾入的口味不太一樣,是我不懂欣賞吧。

This is one of the best restaurants for lunch in Sheung Wan. The spaghetti is freshly made, the appetiser is wonderful. It has no 10% service charge but feel free to give tips to the staff. Service is great.

成日經過都會見到排長龍的,今日早左小小經過呢度,見到有位置,過來食個lunch,可以點個lunch set,前菜+pasta+甜品,價錢都幾抵食,主要係餐廳主打手作面,pasta真係好出名,沙律菜比較新鮮好食,pasta點左黑松露味的,裡面汁唔係好多,不過岩岩夠,意粉唔軟唔硬,好彈牙,黑松露味好香,好讚。甜品就依然係食tiramisu,幾好味的。
