yup, not bad at all. the svc is good, the waiters are nice, the oysters are fresh. they have very good selections. we bought 2 bottles of wine and the waiter/manager was nice enough to waive the cockage charge!!!so yes, go give it a try if you are looking for a fresh oyster night.

見Openrice咁多人推介,適逢Mr. H 生日,梗係要去試吓啦,當然主攻蠔,一打開manu,嘩!都有成三十幾種,多過好多oyster bar,但當然唔係種種都有貨啦,Belon要到10月先有,我o地叫o左Kumamoto、South Pacific、Irish Premium、Fine de Claire、White Pearl同Sydney Rock,之後再加碼Fine de Claire同White Pearl,整體o黎講都好新鮮好甜,White Pearl簡直正啦,次次食都咁好食,唔捨得吞落肚,哈哈!好耐未食過咁圓滿o既一餐喇,當然有嗌白酒啦,嗌o左支德國o既,我鍾意甜o的,係店長推介o架,食蠔一絕!但係熱盤就麻麻喇!羊架同鴨胸意粉好普通,不過我o地主攻蠔就冇所謂啦,裝修氣氛好一般,有o的快餐店feel,可能人o地個名真係叫「Express」掛。

I live in Happy Valley, but this is the first time I had oysters here. I really do care a lot about the freshness of the oysters and won't want to pay a visit to nearby neighbor (HK sanitorium).We look up openrice and decided to give it a try.We ordered some Cherry Stone, Fine de Claire, etc. My significant other is a oyster manic so she ordered a total of two dozen of varies kinds. We ordered some Cherry Stone, Fine de Claire, etc. My significant other is a oyster manic so she ordered a total of two dozen of varies kinds. They are really fresh and tasty. We also had a bottle of wine, a pasta and a soup.

Pricing though is quite expensive and but still below Oyster and Wine bar, which is my benchmark for oysters (safe and tasty). Service is decent and friendly but a bit slow considering that there are only four tables (especially the lobster bisque which is just ok). Overall it is a place worth a try. Didn't get to meet the boss ,Winnie Leung, who meets local celebrity regularly.

One more thing, the environment is quite bar type with stools and tables, but a lot brighter with TV.

雖然住跑馬地,但今次係第一次响翻呢度食壕。因我太重視壕嘅新鮮度,費事要去理左近(養和).睇完本網頁後决定去呢間。

去到叫咗啲Cherry Stone, Fine de Claire等。因我的另一半是壕痴,所以叫咗兩打。每一個品種都非常新鮮。我哋仲叫咗個意粉,龍蝦湯同開咗支酒。

價錢都唔平,但平過Oyster and Wine bar,我對生壕嘅指摽(安全及好味),服務算係幾好同友善,但就較慢(上湯時得四枱客).總括嚟講都試得過。老板娘Winnie成日都有名人客,過今次見唔到。

差啲漏咗,環境都似吧(有高櫈),但光猛好多同有電視。

We told the waiter that we like the "metallic taste", like that of the Sydney Rock type, and asked him to recommend some "metallic taste" and fresh ones. He recommened Irish premium, White Pearl and Fine de Claire. We also ordered the Tasmania.No doubt about the freshness. So far, the freshest I've tried in HK. HOWEVER, I doubt about the knowledge of the waiter. He told me that White Pearl has very strong metallic taste, he said it's stronger than Sydney Rock. No, no, no! All 3 types that

No doubt about the freshness. So far, the freshest I've tried in HK. HOWEVER, I doubt about the knowledge of the waiter. He told me that White Pearl has very strong metallic taste, he said it's stronger than Sydney Rock. No, no, no! All 3 types that he recommended are not metallic taste, or at least not metallic enough.

We also tried the "Baked Hokkaido Big Crab Leg" ($188). So small it was! That's absolutely overpriced! The crab leg itself is not big, and there is nothing on the side.

Garlic bread is NOT recommended, too. Yes, there is butter and there is garlic and there is bread. Somehow, the dish they made just didn't blend the three ingredients together well. This is a below standard garlic bread.

And when it's time to pay, we checked the bill carefully. They charged us $3xx more! How careless can that be?

I think I won't come again.

Due to the great reputation and recommendation from a friend, I decided to have my first date at Oyster Express. I made my reservation on Monday but due to some problems I couldn\'t make it on time so I called in to ask them whether I can change my reservation. However they said that they don\'t have my record but they can make a new one for me now. I was quite shocked at the first place but I was lucky the booking was not full since it was just a wednesday night.When I reached there at 7:45pm t

When I reached there at 7:45pm the restaurant was basically empty. We first sat down and made ourselves comfortable and started checking out the menu.

On the table there was a menu and some newspaper artciles talking about the restaurant but I didn\'t even bother to have a glance for it.

Since it was our first date I actually did my homework beforehand. I let my date checked out the menu for a while and then I made my suggestion. I ordered Kumamoto, Samish Bay and Blue Point since they are all atlantic and pacific oyster which are supposed to be on season now. Then I asked the waiter for recommendation for a more crispy one and he suggested white pearl. I also ordered a bottle of Australia Chardonnay to come with the oyster.

Kumamoto: a bit disappointed as it was so small but still fresh (understand that kumamoto is not famous for its size but the one we had was very skinny)

Samish Bay: not too bad.... can\'t really remember this one as I was paying more attention on my date at that time...

Blue Point: Now this is a good one, very fresh, quite crispy, when I use the fork to touch the side of the oyster, the contraction was very obvious

White Pearl: Being one of the most famous oyster it was nice, very crispy and the aftertaste is good.

After oyster then I ordered a hot dish of \"Roast Duck Breast Spaghetti with Red Wine Source\". I ordered this dish because I saw someone recommended it before in openrice. It was good but not as good as I expected. We also ordered a serve of garlic bread.

The environment is clean but last night was so noisy. They have turned the TV quite loud and made the customers to speak even louder.

Service was pretty good too and here I will like to thank you for the recommendation of white pearl, my date likes it.

Went there for my birthday with a few friends. First impression? Just so-so. When we first went in, it was way too cold, so we asked them if we could move to another table. The waiter was reluctant to do so and made up some poor excuses. But we moved anyway. The other waiters were more polite and friendly. 今日俾男友帶左去跑馬地既oyster express食生蠔,真係唔錯。食物方面:每人食左3種蠔,各有特色,一家要食blue point,好鮮味,我鐘意。環境方面:尚可,我坐bar桌,不過近門口,開門關門都有風。衛生方面:蠔內毫無沙石,每食完一道菜都會換碟服務方面:極好,自動提供適合客人既蠔,不過可能情人節多人啦,好慢,對面一對食小食腸仔都等左成9個字。我俾7個味啦(10個味為滿)!

我今日去試, 試了八款我覺得Harstie Isaland 最好, 因為清清地又有蠔味, 我反而唔係咁識欣賞belon OOO. 佢d味係係個口好耐, 真係好耐, 但係對於我一個唔係好識食的人就好似大濃啦..不過d services 好好, 真係唔錯..價錢大部分20-30元啦, 有d其他出名的就貴dd啦!!有幾多不同的sashimi 但係我沒有試到!又有d不同的意粉...**仲可以外賣架

純屬個人意見。如果生吃Belon的話,其實以3個「0」以下為佳,3個「0」的已經略縑肉質過老較韌,歐洲人稱之為「馬蹄腳」,焗來吃還可以,生吃就以小一點的肉質較嫩滑。但唔知點解,香港吃belon就普遍認為越大越好,當然是耶非耶就見仁見智,但就越大越貴就係真事。生吃3個「0」都覺得韌,仲要試4個「0」的?!

純屬個人意見。
如果生吃Belon的話,其實以3個「0」以下為佳,3個「0」的已經略縑肉質過老較韌,歐洲人稱之為「馬蹄腳」,焗來吃還可以,生吃就以小一點的肉質較嫩滑。
但唔知點解,香港吃belon就普遍認為越大越好,當然是耶非耶就見仁見智,但就越大越貴就係真事。
生吃3個「0」都覺得韌,仲要試4個「0」的?!

首先勞煩editor改番D資料先;呢度個地址係:跑馬地奕蔭街13-15B地下;唔該晒!其實之後都有幫襯過,仲要係外賣,俾o左$7x的士錢~(好在有人請^^)感覺係呢度依家除生蠔之外多o左好多熟食;可能依家舖位大o左,D客可以嚮度食埋主菜掛。果次剛剛係"ber"o既月份,終於有機會試到Belon。原來呢度有BelonOOOOO;不過人地請,費事去得咁盡,只係食o左隻BelonOOO。3O望落都好細隻,扁扁黑黑咁,但食落口真係好鮮味,正!同white pearl比就各有所長。不過若果鍾意肥D有口感D既,就試white pearl比較適合。乜原來呢度有魚蛋食o嫁?下次去食宵夜o既話試下先!

估唔到淨係得mcwing 兩年前o既comments!今次係第一次去呢間oyster bar, 係function 形式同oyster express 攪o既..$220 包六隻蠔+小食+pasta+一杯house white. 超值~!試左o既六隻蠔款分別係kumamoto, hastine island, blue point, samish bay, tasmania, 同marenne. 全部都好新鮮! 其中tasmania 同marenne 比較好味. 除左呢六款外, 我仲額外試多左fine de claire 同white pearl 呢兩款. fine de claire 比較普通. white pearl 就真係一流~ 肥美o既蠔身,濃郁o既蠔味加埋咸咸o既海水味~ 嘩~ 真係一流. 因為已經食左太多隻同埋有d snack+pasta, 所以冇再試d french belon...有機會一定要再試.食完蠔後, 開始上d pasta + snack. 呢度o既pasta 亦都非常唔錯~! 最surprise o既係呢度o既咖喔魚蛋, 冇錯, 係咖喱魚蛋o既質素絕對比旺角街

食完蠔後, 開始上d pasta + snack. 呢度o既pasta 亦都非常唔錯~! 最surprise o既係呢度o既咖喔魚蛋, 冇錯, 係咖喱魚蛋o既質素絕對比旺角街頭o既質素有過之而無不及!
由於我自己有side orders o既關係, 一個人埋單total $330. 唔平, 但係絕對係一次wonderful o既experience.
順帶一提, 呢度飲水係要另計o既. 所以飲酒o既朋友可能開多支white 仲抵.
