My friend and I ate here for dinner Friday night. The lamb dish and the paneer makhani was delicious, and the garlic naan was soft and fluffy and garlicky (we ended up getting 2 orders). The chicken tikka was flavourful and juicy - even the lime soda which I’d never had before was good!

好好味，set lunch份量超多，我一個人一半都食唔哂。我個set有羊肉咖哩，芝士雜菜咖哩，雞件，一薄餅，一飯，一薄脆，仲有罐可樂，先$60，唔使加一，飽到嘔。中午無人，不過間野冷氣唔係好夠。

週末時身體有點不適， 混身感到很重。 心想星期一要吃頓正宗印度咖哩， 讓多種香料來調整一下身體，兼醒醒神! 首選是在蘭桂坊的一家小印度餐館， 我十多年前在中環工作時常常到此午膳。 當年這餐廳外觀簡樸， 環境寧靜。食物質數不俗， 午餐價錢亦很友善。 如今再在中環上班已數月， 想起吃咖哩，當然要去Maharani Mess啦！今天我簡單點了個雞的set lunch。 同事點了羊， 並加了一個Mango Lassi。 我有點咳， 就忍痛不點Lassi了。 另外再加一份我喜歡的palek paneer (菠菜芝士)。味道沒有驚喜， 就是那種你平時會去用膳的館子那種感覺： 沒驚喜， 沒挫敗， 穩穩定定， 該什麼味就什麼味。。。如要批評， 竟然是naan可以再稍加進步。 餐後再order 了masala tea。 喝完便後悔了！ 今天喝了， 明天必然又心思思。。。masala tea 的香味總是會令人念念不忘的。結帳之後， 老闆Zaheer送客至門外。 他說他依然認得我(!) 我說今天餐廳頗為清淨， 他說大廈的大門口裝修中， 頗為影響客人進來意欲。我說這樣影響生意得想想辦法啊! 在中環老蘭找到好食，只係HK$60午餐去邊喥揾？Set lunch正宗，只HK$60! 餐中有七道菜, 當有前菜,主菜,印度佐餐醬料飯及roti當中三款咖哩，三個味道都不同，有誠意，絕不是馬虎之作。(本人最怕個d樣樣咖哩都差唔多味的咖哩.) 試過set lunch及點餐牌上食物，savory! 餐牌食物選擇多，價錢大眾化。當中點了兩道咖哩，一雞一雜菜;兩款味道折然不同. Have been trying quite a number of Indian places lately. Even went for progressive Indian cuisine in bangkok and enjoyed the experience. 呢間餐廳其實係一位教瑜珈嘅印籍老師介紹，所以心諗應該可以試到d地道又好味嘅食物！咁啱朋友生日想試新野，就諗起呢間地點在中環嘅餐廳（可以方便住喺不同地方嘅朋友）！一入餐廳，是一間大約有5至6張枱嘅小型餐廳，因為我們已經訂了6人枱，所以不用等。我們點了芒果乳酪飲品，濃濃嘅芒果味既開胃又好味，一個好開始！之後，再嚟薯仔沙律，辣辣地又酸酸的，我同朋友們都再order多一個，因為覺得出面食唔到呢個清新又醒胃嘅沙律！主菜有香辣燒雞，老闆攞過嚟時d雞在鐵板上仲有sasa聲，熱辣辣，好好食，我仲食埋墊底d洋蔥𠻹！其他有咖喱雞、咖喱羊及矮瓜，不太辣，啱哂我！d羊好＂林＂有驚喜！我同朋友點了飯及Garlic bread來配咖喱！我好鍾意呢度嘅garlic bread厚度及軟硬適中！我諗因為呢間餐廳屬小型嘅關係，所以食物保持水準，食品等待嘅時間又唔耐。老闆殷勤嘅服務態度，令一班朋友都盡興！價錢方面，我們6個人大約1100左右（請埋壽星女每人都係200蚊多少少），好抵！我們已決定下次再幫襯過仲即塲book埋下次𠻹！

I work in the area and have been past this place many times.Today, I had an urge for Indian spice but didn't want to do the usual Indian lunch buffet and stuff myself with so much that I fall asleep in the afternoon.I cannot eat a curry unless it has naan bread, so Ebeneezers was definitely out of the window. This place was truly unexpected. I was going on my way back to the MTR after having a catastrophic dinner in El Rincon when I got stopped by a restaurant promoter on the street. 是日中午, 要搞搞飯局既野. 一個人先來到中環, 在等另一位朋友幫手之際, 走進了老蘭. 日頭既蘭桂坊, 而且是1點半既蘭桂坊, 顯得有點冷清. 我由山上的德己立街直落, 轉了彎, 路邊有個牌 "Set lunch for $48". 咖喱 set lunch, 又幾好播. 企在旁邊的星哥, 有如重慶的招攬手法. 帶我上樓, 食咖喱. 行入大廈大堂, 感覺同入到重慶無別. 舊式的商住大廈, 因為地方太舊而令人產生不衛生既錯覺. 入埋舊到唔舊既升降機. 上到黎, 是一間小小的, 重慶大廈咖喱王feel既小小curry house.Set Lunch, 應該多年來都是這4款, 咖喱雜菜, 咖喱雞, 咖喱魚, 同咖喱羊. 而我就選下咖喱羊, 因為食印度餐, 不吃羊, 覺得完全不像話. 另外, 叫下一杯 Mango Lasse. 芒果乳酪, 即叫, 店主大哥即時拿出乳酪同罐頭芒果, 再倒落調酒杯, 即搖. 一杯黃色, 濃濃的 Mango Lasse就出現在我眼前. 味道, 充滿濃濃的芒果味, 而且夠凍, 好既Mango Lasse就要這樣, 濃芒果味, 不搶乳酸味, 而且不太酸.Set Lun

Naan 夠熱，好吃午餐選了羊，味道不錯但只有3小塊。Salted Lassi 有點稀，不夠重慶大廈裏那些印度餐廳那么濃稠好味。一般啦。

今日又吃印度餐，已經試過India Curry Club，所以今日就幫襯呢度。位處蘭桂坊外街一棟唐樓的二樓，都係第一次來。一個人坐低，侍應送來菜牌，問他才知set lunch不在菜牌內，肉類得雞肉一款。菜上檯又係一個大銻碟盛所有食物，有咖哩雞肉及什菜、香燒雞，配印度黃飯、薄脆餅同naan一大塊。咖喱雞及什菜完全不辣，味道差少少，拿來撈飯和點naan還可以；香燒雞幾好味，表面香而肉嫩滑，有水準；黃飯同naan都好夠份量，唔使驚食唔飽。還叫了一杯可樂，埋單65蚊，不收加一，價錢唔算貴，但單以午餐論就好似India Curry Club好少少。
