Visited this place with two of my friends last Saturday for brunch. We were particularly excited to try the beers and to explore Kennedy Town area. Turns out, there isn't much to explore but there does seem to be a lot of good places around. Very expat friendly and laid back as well.
We ordered the Full Breakfast, waffles, mushroom pizza, truffle fries, and some beers and coffee. The coffee was decent, but it was the beers that really stood out. I ordered the Pale Ale, which had a light fruitiness to it.
The food was good too, but I didn't find it anything special and thought it was a little overpriced ($130) for what it was. The Full Breakfast was a little underwhelming but everything tasted fresh and delicious. When I think of a full breakfast or all day breakfast, I expect to be wow-ed by the portion and presentation, but it turned out to be just normal and it certainly didn't have the wow-factor. Also, they didn't ask me how I wanted my eggs and they were served over-easy (not sure if you can request them to be cooked in other ways?)
Overall a pretty good experience, loved the hipster decor and high ceilings. Almost feels like you're not in HK. The service staff were also friendly and attentive. Would come back again, but would order something else next time.
