My friend G picked this place to have her birthday dinner. Seeing the reviews of the restaurant, I knew it was gonna be an interesting experience. No more than 20 people could be seated at a time, as it is quite a small place. 2 of us had arrived first, and there weren't any people in the restaurant, which meant it was only us vs. the host/Sommelier, who just kept on talking and talking and talking. He wasn't pressuring us to try their wine, but he did talk lots about it. He was definitely very passionate about what he does, which is good I think. 
 

Then, when our friend finally arrived. The wine lover explained to us what was unique about each one of their dishes. The 3 of us each got a dinner set. Since none of us are big drinkers, we didn't order any wine. After a very long and detailed description, we made a choice. I tend to order fish or steak when I'm out so I opted for the salmon, when buddy J chose the steak. 
 Then, the birthday girl chose the pork rack, since we were told Iowa has the best damn pork in the world. 
 Each set consists of a salad, soup and main; add $40 for a dessert if you wish. 

Here is what we got:
1. Smoked Salmon Caesar Salad  Do you find that smoked salmon and caesar salads are 2 dishes that pretty much taste the same no matter which restaurant you go to? This is what I think. Nothing too special, but at least I got some greens for the day.

2. Bread & Daily Bisque: Tomato  This was a very cheesy and fresh tomato bisque. 
 We all quite liked it, but it was rather salty and, we weren't a big fan of the parsley. 
 The texture of the soup was interesting, which can be noticed from the picture. The bread was very crunchy, so it was a nice contrast when dipped into the soup.

3. Grilled Norwegian Salmon Fillet w/ Capers Creme Reduction ($258)  My little piece of salmon laid quietly beside a bed of potatoes. The potates were creamy, but once again everything was seasoned too heavily, as everything was so salty. 
 The capers creme reduction was different, but not bad. My salmon was good, but it was a little overcooked and it was so tiny. Since it was such a thin piece, it was probably cooked once it hit the pan. 
 I was surprised that it was overcooked though, since the dude gave us a long speech on them never overcooking their food. Ha.

4. Grilled US Angus Rib-Eye Steak w/ Cabernet Reduction ($268) The sides were also mashed potatoes with veggies for the steak. Our table faced La Vache, so as we were trying this steak, we couldn't help but to compare the 2 steaks of these 2 different restaurants. We all thought that the one across the street was better. Sorry, didn't mean to compare... 
The cabernet reduction tasted like regualr gravy to me, which is something you also never get to have in Hong Kong, so that was a nice change.

5. Grilled Iowa Berkshire Pork Rack w/ Wild Mushroom Creme ($278) This was one big, thick and fat piece of pork! The meat had some fat to it, and it was still a little pink, so the pork was very tender. I was glad that it didn't have that "pork" taste. 
 The dish had the best sauce in our opinion; the wine and mushroom were wonderful together.

6. Dessert (+$40) Apple Crumble The reason why my friend chose this place was because of their pear crumble. Unfortunately, it was sold out along with some other desserts, so we chose the apple crumble. We were disappointed, but soon after, this became the highlight of the night. 
 It was probably one of the best apple crumbled I have had in my life! The topping was warm and crunchy, then the apples were a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. All together with the ice cream, we finished this dessert in minutes. Also, after such a salty main, this sweetness was needed to soothe the tongue.

Everything came rather slow, as the chef had to finish all the mains ordered at the restaurant before the dessert could be made. We were there for almost 3 hours. I know fine dining is a slow process, but we really didn't have the patience that night.

Final Verdict:
I'm not one that likes to social too much while I'm eating. I like my personal space, so when the host/ sommelier kept talking, it was just a little too much. We were lucky that a eally large and troublesome table came, so that he spent most of his time attending to them. However, his service was good, as you could really feel his passion. If you like wine, I would suggest this place since "they don't sell what supermarkets and places do", and I'm sure you could have a great chat with the sommelier.
 
題外話/補充資料: You might get some surprises from the sommelier... :)

看到鄰枱點的rib eye steak 仲大份亦很吸引。
吃完main course 酒還剩1/3杯,老闆很貼心主動換了chilled 既杯同用熟練既手勢轉酒杯,即時好飲返亦把它喝完。

最後選了9% alc US beer($88)。先呷一口完全勁dry(冇lasting味道直接好快衝到係喉嚨度勁乾)近乎難飲既beer竟然跟甜品很搭,跟剛才完全是兩回事,變得順口好飲!老闆的主動貼心為我們這些六神無主的品酒白痴省卻很多煩惱,亦讓我的舌頭上了寶貴的一課!能夠沉醉於美酒佳餚下,懵懂的過三小時醉生夢醒的人生,也是一種不錯的生活享受!

Without a doubt, what we discovered were the best desserts we have had in Hong Kong for a very long time.  There is a good amount of choices for all types of desserts (e.g.: coffee, chocolate, cheese), so it is impossible for you not to find something that will excite your taste buds.  Just as a side note and warning: the shop owner is P-A-S-S-I-O-N-A-T-E about wines.  So if you don't fancy a glass of wine with your desserts, be ready to have to say "no thanks" and smile politely (or not) ten thousand times.  If you do fancy a glass of wine however, he will share his passion and make you discover nice secret gems whlie explaining what you drink in great detail.

Noddy: 勁大pat cream下面係流心朱古力蛋糕,非常聰明地用碗裝住解決咗平時d朱古力流心流到成碟都係嘅問題,食到尾可以用羹"畢"埋入口,唔洗o徙!
旁邊的especial coffee食之前倒埋入去! 嘩!! 內外都"流心"嘅流心朱古力蛋糕呀!!
cream+cake+especial+朱古力的味道非常複雜飽滿,朱古力味亦超濃!! 勁正!!

Gui: WoW, this one is creative and delicious.  You get some whip cream and chocolate cake, with a shot of expresso that you pour yourself on top.  I love it for its creativity, mixture of diary, chocolate and coffee, and very fresh sensation.  Strongly recommended choice!

Noddy: 老闆話所有dessert都係落order即做的,呢個cheesecake 非常熱辣辣!! 味道有d似日本的chessecake, 芝士味濃而不漏! 最正係個texture, 超fluffy!! 有d似souffle嘅口感!一個人食兩個都ok!!

Gui: In other restaurants, I often skip ordering cheesecake despite being one of my favourite desserts simply because it's often plain and boringly tastes the same regardless of where you are in the world.  At Le Moment, they make it with white chocolate and bake it to roast the top.  Be careful it's boiling when served but how surprisingly creative and unique!  Of course, they still keep atraditional touch by serving delicious raspberry jam on the side.  I simply love it!  You cannot leave Le Moment without trying one.

Noddy: 有係熱辣辣的,食得出係新鮮梨做的,不過朱古力有d太搶味,crumble亦好多,個人不太喜歡咁乾身的甜品

Gui: This was the dissapointing one, but it may due to the fact that the other ones were so yummy and creative that this felt too "normal" in comparison.  Although its name "Baked Pear Chocolate Crumble" suggests that there are pears as ingredient, you can barely taste them.  It may be overpowered by the chocolate.  All in all, it is not a bad dessert but simply not spectacular like the two previous ones were.  This may be your choice is you are a "safe and traditional" person

這位朋友甜品中只吃喜歡 Apple Crumble , 於是小妹向他推薦了 Le Moment最後一次吃到已是兩年多前的舊文了, 今晚有人肉地圖帶路, 小妹就做跟得朋友好了。我們到時大約分八點, 只有兩位客人, 但約半個鐘後已開始女生進場搵甜品食。朋友先為我點了一杯House Wine, 但Fruity感和甜度也非我杯茶。來這裡吃Apple Crumble 是常識, 再來Lemon TartLemon Tart 先來, 檸檬吉士夠酸以甜甜櫻桃醬平衡, 而撻皮則有欠鬆脆。繼而即焗的Apple crumble 放在我們面前, 牛油香是衝著感觀而來的,輕輕的玉桂味沒有蓋過青紅蘋果的風頭, 每一口也是金寳的香脆, 雖然邪惡, 但實在令人欲罷不能, 份量足夠和朋友分享。飲飽食醉後, 怎麼我會依偎在朋友的懷裡 ……

I've heard that the apple crumble here is pretty good so I decided to check out Le Moment on a Friday night. 

Located in SoHo, the restaurant was quaint and cozy with chic black and white decor. Different bottles of wine lined one side of the wall, alluding to the unique and vast wine collection at Le Moment. At 6:30pm, the restaurant was pretty empty so we had the place pretty much to ourselves.

After I called to make a reservation, the owner Bob had sent me his dinner menu and wine list ahead of time. The wine list was very comprehensive with descriptions and commentary on the flavors of each wine.  When we arrived, he came over to go over the dinner menu in a very detailed manner, explaining the source of the ingredients and the flavors of each dish. He's obviously very passionate about his food and wine, yet I can see how his eccentricity can be off-putting per previous reviews. It didn't bother us really and we had a great discussion with him about wine as we had just come back from Napa Valley. 

We each picked a main dish from the 4 course menu, which came with a salad, soup, and dessert as well. Besides the spring chicken, there were 7 main courses available for us to choose from and all of them sounded appealing to me! We ended up choosing the duck breast and pork rack for our dinner this night.

After choosing our main dishes, Bob asked us if we can finish a bottle of wine and proceeded to pick 5 wine to recommend to us for our dinner. His philosophy is to pick wines that is not commonly served in HK so he had wine that was from Greece, Austria, Loire Valley, Oregon, Bulgaria, etc. His wine recommendations ranged from $380 - $580 per bottle, and we ended up choosing a red from Austria.

Blauer Zweigelt ($480) - the wine was easy on the palate and smooth to drink. It tasted like a pinot noir with hints of fruity and nutty flavors. It was the perfect blend of the earthiness from old world wines and the zest from new world wines. We had no problem finishing the bottle of wine between the 2 of us as it went very well with the food.

Smoked Salmon Caesar - the salad was simple with pieces of smoked salmon on romaine lettuce. The smoked salmon was fresh and the salad dressing was light. While the salad was good, I found it to be a bit plain and underwhelming though.

Soup of the Day - the tomato soup was piping hot when it arrived along with a piece of toast. At first I thought it was just plain old creamy tomato soup but as I took my first sip, I scooped up chunks of real tomato cubes from the bottom of the soup. The tomato cubes were still firm and raw so it was like taking a bite out of a fresh tomato while drinking the tomato bisque. The addition of the fresh tomato was a nice surprise which enhanced the overall texture and taste of the soup.

Spiced Cured French Duck Breast, wild Berries Au Jus ($278) - it's true what Bob said when he described this dish - it was the biggest duck breast we've seen served in a restaurant (longer than our hands)! The duck was nicely cooked with a seared crispy surface while the inside was pink and raw. Some parts were a bit tough to eat though. The au jus was very tangy and appetizing which complimented the duck breast very well. A solid dish overall but not the best that I've had.

Grilled Canadian Pork Rack with Black Truffle Wild Mushroom Reduction ($258) - the portions again were very generous as the pork rack was huge and thick! The black truffle sauce smelled amazing and aromatic. The mushrooms were really flavorful as they had soaked up the flavors of the truffle. The pork itself was nicely cooked - though it was not as tender or juicy as I'd like. The sauce went very well with the pork, and I had trouble finishing the pork as there was just too much.

Onto my favorite part of the meal - desserts! Our set dinner came with a lemon tart but we can also change the dessert to another dessert on their menu for an extra $30-40. I had originally wanted to try their pear chocolate crumble but as they didn't have any that day, I settled for the apple crumble instead.

Lemon Tart - the lemon tart that came with the dinner was really good! The pastry shell was crumbly while the lemon filling was tart but not too sweet. There was also some raspberry sauce on the side and this combination of sour on sour flavors went very well together!

Baked Apple Crumble (+$30) - OMG best apple crumble ever! The crumble on top was baked to perfection as it was crispy and buttery. The size of the crumble was also perfect as it wasn't too crumbly or too clumped together. Underneath the crumble, there was a layer of thin apple slices, which were just right in flavor as they were not too sweet. It was the best apple crumble I've ever tried!

Conclusion - Sometimes too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. The portions of the main dishes were a bit too big to enjoy comfortably and that last bite of meat with truffle sauce or au jus can start feeling like it was just too much. Overall, the cooked food was pretty solid but not amazing, yet the desserts are out of this world! I would come back to try their baked pear chocolate crumble next time!

Le Moment is a small wine bar and restaurant on the lower side of Peel Street in Soho. Neighbor of the artist bar Joyce Is Not Here, bohemian-musicians' hangout Peel Fresco and the hip African bar Makumba, the new venue is equally strong in personality.

You can hardly imagine this French-style cafe with white-painted walls with simple sketches, two cinderellas, dark-wood tables and leather chairs used to be the red hot Alcove. However, like the former restaurant, Le Moment with just around 15-20 seats is ideal for an intimate dinner with the beloved one(s) or a private party.

One of the things that makes Le Moment stand out from other restaurants is the personalized service. Owner Bobby, is always there to help. As a wine connoisseur, he can give very good advice when comes to wine tasting, yet without making you feel embarrassed even if you know absolutely nothing about wines. We choose a red wine from France called Miss Terre, for we prefer something fruity. After 15 minutes of airing, we have a sip. "It should taste like berry, quite sweet and not overwhelming," Bobby says. We love the no-jargon, precise description. Today, we are the only customers here when we arrive. So once in a while Bobby would chat with us casually, asking us what kind of music we like, if the jazz tune is ok for us, and what indie bands I usually listen to, for he plays guitar too, just like a friend. We are also very surprised that when we have finished half a bottle, Bobby asks if we have noticed any change in the taste of wine. Had he not told us that we'd never have noticed our wine has a mushroom, spicy aroma and taste now. Like the wines in Le Moment, you can easily smell Bobby's passion about his food and wine, from meters away. Later in the day when there are other customers, we hear him explaining to them in details about the wine they have ordered, letting them smell their gourmet teas, have a taste of the French cheese slices, without being too overwhelming.

In Le Moment, a bottle of wine is around $380 - $490. Just a little bit more expensive than a house wine in any other restaurants. They import directly from micro-cellars mostly from Europe - something not very easily available in town. Apart from wines, Le Moment serves gourmet teas too. In the late afternoon they offers tea sets. On a nice sunny afternoon it's perfect to have a piece of home-made cafe, sipping a nice cup of Mariage Freres Marco Polo (a very fruity tea) before opening a bottle of nicely chilled white wine at their alfresco table. At night they serve set dinner ($158) which includes a salad, a main dish and a tea. Or else you can choose from their tapas-style small plate menu (around $38/dish) which is good for snacking over a bottle of wine. Sometimes, they offer a 5-course wine-pairing menu ($550), an excellent deal because it's almost like all-you-can-drink. Also, they do not charge cockage fee because they believe your wines are something too. They are happy as long as your order a bottle when you open a bottle of your own. If you are a vegetarian, there are plenty options to choose from their small plate menu. If you'd like a set dinner or try their 5-course wine-pairing menu they can also arrange something for you if you book in advance.

The romantic atmosphere, friendly and personalized service and good price in Le Moment will definitely draw you back once you've been there.

一心黎食甜品可惜我好想食雪糕之際佢地冇
難得我朋友唔好甜品都話想試
咁梗係要比面叫黎試下啦
朋友簡左個白朱古力芝士蛋糕
佢形容到製法獨特。比較軟身好味
可惜等左20分鐘之後

非常喜歡呢間店! Pear and Chocolate Crumble 非常好食. 佢地係用新鮮既梨黎整, 而唔係罐頭用糖漿浸o個種, 味道好清新。同埋個朱古力crumble係冇另外落糖, 淨係落朱古力! 所以甜得黎一D都唔膩。無論係同朋友黎傾偈食野, 或者自己一個黎享受一個super relax既下午, 都係非常正 個owner係一個鬍鬚佬, 個人好frank同都幾多野講, 例如會無啦啦同我講: I like your shoes! 其實都幾搞笑幾nice XD 不過佢唔係成日都o係到既~ 至於如果你order甜品既時候, 個店員如數家珍咁樣同你逐樣介紹每樣甜品有咩特別既話, 你就知道o個位仁兄就係負責整甜品o個個喇! 而確實D甜品真係好特別, 好有心思。佢話因為"條斜路好斜"(Peel Street), 所以人客一場黎到, 冇理由俾普通野人食! which is so true! 雖然我去第二次都係食Pear and Chocolate Crumble... 因為太好食 >< 希望有一天可以試埋其他款*有一次我坐得近廚房, 落完order之後聽到批皮聲@@ 相信D

不得不提既係店員既超級細心。我一坐低, 佢係俾左杯暖暖地既水我; 而隔離枱兩個喘緊氣既男仔則獲得冰水兩杯。另外, 我飲茶, 佢地會走過黎同我換隻熱辣辣既杯, 話唔想我飲凍野@@" super sweet!

Dining experience does not only refer to the quality of the food itself. Very often, the service of the restaurant plays a determinative role. No matter how brilliant the food tastes, one would not return if one doesn't feel comfortable with its service. This is one of the restaurants that gave me such a strong feeling. Food was good. Friend J and I were not hungry- we just wanted a place to sit and chat. We stopped in front of this petite restaurant browsing its menu stand. We noticed there were both set dinner and a la carte menus. The Boss came out and chatted with us. I thought he was welcoming and confident of its food (He said: don't need to pay if don't like the food, restaurants opened less than 3 years were not comparable to his etc.).

After settling down, the Boss handed us a set dinner menu and passionately introduced each dish of food.

We requested for the a la carte menu, and he replied "The best food is on the set dinner menu. But of course if you want to have a spaghetti or what, we could just make it for you." Hence no a la carte menu was provided. We asked another waiter for a carbonara, and he said they did not have it. After a minute, the Boss came and said "As you could see, we have a small kitchen. We could not possibly make such a variety of food. You will know it if you operate a small restaurant yourself".

Frankly I felt offended
. If they did not have a la carte menu at night,
1. they should not have displayed the a la carte menu at the front of the restaurant;
2. the Boss should not have told us he could make whatever food we wanted;
3. he could have politely apologised instead. His blunt response seemed to blame us for requesting something unreasonably impossible from him.

I could tell that this Boss was persistent in giving us the 'best' dining experience, however from his own, not his customer's, perspective.

Before we had made up our mind of what to eat, the Boss asked us at least twice if we wanted any appetiser or wine. There was no menu for appetiser. We requested a nacho. And again, they did not have it ==

Food
Very glad that the boss did not further bother us after some other customers had came.
We ordered two sets of 4-course dinner, which included a salad, a soup, a main course and a dessert.

It tasted so good. It had a lovely sour tomato flavour with fine juicy tomato cubes. It was thick and rich. J said it was like a fusion of borscht and cream soup.
The little piece of bread was light and crispy. Good.

This pork came from Quebec. I am not particularly fond of pork as I do not like its rough texture. But this was very nice- both the texture and the taste. The pork rack was charred with a lightly grilled taste. The meat was succulent, mildly reddish but not bloody. It was thick; but it could be sliced easily since it was very tender.
The mushroom sauce was creamy and rich. There was slices of mushroom in it. It went perfect with the pork.

The sides were mashed potato and tomato-ized zucchini. The zucchini was softly crunchy. The mashed potato was more liquid than usual. It was smooth and was lightly salted. Nice.

Grilled "Myanmarian" Striped Prawn with Garlic Butter Sauce $228 (set)

The prawn was as long as my palm. The grilling was good. The prawn had a freshy texture and was deliciously seasoned with pepper and herbs. The sauce was buttery but not oily. The prominent garlicky taste was not too strong, and could raise my appetite. An irresistibly yummy dish!

Dessert: Baked apple crumble (set upgrade +$50?) and Earl grey pudding (set)
When it came to dessert, the Waiter, who was much more humble and polite, said he was responsible for preparing all the dessert, and introduced each of them to us.
The set included earl grey pudding. We added $50 (if I remember correctly) for an upgrade of apple crumble.

Baked Apple crumble (front)
The Waiter said the apple filling had been prepared since afternoon. They used green apple instead of red (if I remember correctly.) No sugar was added. Hence he hilariously said "if you eat the apple crumble and you find it very sweet... this means the apple itself is really sweet."
The smell of freshly baked cinnamon pastry was always enthralling. This seemed overbaked a bit- the crust was crispy but too dry for me. There were abundant apple cubes, which was juicy, crunchy but quite sour. The sourness could reduce the heaviness of the dessert. But I would be happier if it was accompanied by icecream ;P

Earl grey pudding (back) (can't remember the exact name)

There were various fruits on top of the pudding, including strawberries, blueberries, kiwi and cherries.The pudding had a lovely earl grey taste. There seemed to be some poppy seeds. This (or whatever it was) gave an interestingly crunchy texture to this pudding. Like it!

Summary/ next?
I was struggling whether to give a smiley face, an "OK" or a sad face. I appreciated the Boss's passion- but I would be much more happier and satisfied if he could respect our choice. Hence even though the food was great, I would not be back.

I suppose you would find the service here alright if you are prepared to let the Boss dominate your choice of food.This might be the place if you wish to have a decent dinner at $200 in mid level and chat with the Boss about food or wine. (He seemed to be a wine lover. "If you equate wine with alcohol, don't come to my place.") Also he could chat unstoppably. Hence think twice if you just want to chat with your friends.
題外話/補充資料: The suggested price range stated in Open Rice was $41-100. I think it depends on whether you are having tea or dinner. If you come for a dinner, it would cost at least $200 (as shown in the set dinner menu). Also, the opening hour stated in Open Rice includes Sunday. However when I was about to leave the restaurant, the Waiter said they do not open on Sunday.

看得出他是非常用心來介紹店內每樣東西,跟客人交談,但碰著不擅辭令的我倆,就有點怕怕。跟我們細心逐一介紹餐牌上每道甜品,之後我這笨蛋發問了個超愚蠢的問題:哪一個是signature dish?好喇,話匣子被打開,長江東去,一個又一個浪花就打過來咯。。。老闆說了很多話,還比喻說一個家庭有五個兒子的話,人家都不會問那個是signature son。嗯嗯,對,我錯了,只是一個問題就被說得九仗遠,嗚嗚。。。。。嗚嗚,你饒了我吧!

掙扎了一陣才決定好點那個甜點,誰叫老闆都描繪得所有東西十分美味。

點完甜點,老闆介紹他們的花茶,又形容得很厲害似的。我說好啦,那你給我看看飲料餐牌再決定(至少都要知道價位嘛XD),他說沒問題之後,就端上了幾罐裝滿茶包的玻璃瓶過來,嗯嗯,又是不知道價錢,我不好意思問,嗅過四款花茶Passion fruit,vanilla,mint,lavander 。

最後我挑了vanilla,香味給我綿花的感覺,晚上喝,就像被溫暖感包圍著。

一喝下去,茶味順順,舒服挺不錯,喝到第二壺,味道都沒變得淡如水。

先生點的咖啡,他不怕睡不著晚上九時還喝咖啡!!據可靠消息,老闆親手調的咖啡的確不錯,不酸不澀,恰到好處。他還細心的把濃味,淡味分開裝。細小那杯,老闆捧上枱時稱淡如清水,旁邊那正常杯裝才好喝,但他摸不清人客品味,才兩杯都給我們,自選哪一杯甚至混和喝也行。

這貼心的確是小店的亮點。

另一道就是先生最愛的芝士餅,Baked white chocolate cheese cake with rose strawberry jem(HKD$58)。先溫馨提示一點,可把white chocolate 和rose省掉,因為它完全沒有出現在甜品的味道來。不過撇除有點出入實不相符,這焗芝士餅是非常好吃。連我不愛芝士餅的人也立即舉起姆指稱讚。溫熱的芝士餅成為主角,配上甚麼果醬已變得不重要,甚至旁邊的士多啤梨醬都被打入冷宮,不沾醬單吃都夠美味!

埋單連飲品HKD$192,即是每杯飲品單點也是HKD$28和小店不設加一,非常實惠的價錢!

點好食物後,跟先生有暗暗說過怕了老闆熱情招待,儘管食物有多好吃,下次再訪都要認真好好考慮要不要再挑戰。幸好,後半段時間,人客漸多,老闆都沒瑕再理會我倆,給了我們更私人的談話空間。那好嚕,下次也要偷看店是塞滿人的狀況再來,就不怕老闆的口水啦~

我今次1st time 寫食評 , 全因我從未見過咁冇質素的餐廳老闆,冇文化而惡死.所以要各大食客小心, 免得"掂$買難受! 服務態度差到將近要報警告佢性騷擾!!!恐怖太多,不能盡錄! 節錄奇遇如下:1) 我和朋友一行12人訂了枱 (10女2男) 慶生日, 但餐廳十分窄小,我們被安排坐10人枱,我們都吾mind, 只要生日朋友(A)開心就OK la, 后來我發現A的家姐姐夫及外甥bb都來,要15人迫在10人枱, 明明傍邊有2人空枱, 不給大人及外甥bb, they have to stand !!!! 變態老闆仲好串用"爛的港式英文"話: " I have told you, our shop is small, u all have to sit only at this table!!" , 經多番討論要兒乞求后, 才可以比2人空枱我們!!!!變態老闆仲要反白眼對我們所有人!心想:我們帶多2人來幫襯是我們的錯???! 2) Before Dinner, 我們只想叫waiter 攞清水,但 老闆不断SELL " Sparkling water" 有氣礦泉水和花茶,我們不想花無謂$o

恐怖太多,不能盡錄! 節錄奇遇如下:
1) 我和朋友一行12人訂了枱 (10女2男) 慶生日, 但餐廳十分窄小,我們被安排坐10人枱,我們都吾mind, 只要生日朋友(A)開心就OK la, 后來我發現A的家姐姐夫及外甥bb都來,要15人迫在10人枱,
明明傍邊有2人空枱, 不給大人及外甥bb, they have to stand !!!! 變態老闆仲好串用"爛的港式英文"話: " I have told you, our shop is small, u all have to sit only at this table!!"

經多番討論要兒乞求后, 才可以比2人空枱我們!!!!
變態老闆仲要反白眼對我們所有人!心想:我們帶多2人來幫襯是我們的錯???!

2) Before Dinner, 我們只想叫waiter 攞清水,但 老闆不断SELL " Sparkling water" 有氣礦泉水和花茶,我們不想花無謂$order, 所以好有禮貌地 NO THANKS, 點之個無良老闆仲不停SELL ,話自己的花茶有幾好,仲bring out 茶包,要我們聞聞茶香!!我們已經order 了酒,晚餐前仲要飲 Tea??? This is not a chinese 酒家 law!!!!
At last , 我好無奈order花茶, 目的要打發 無良老闆走!我根本一D都吾想飲


3)餐前我們已經帶了3支酒,餐廳扮好不收開瓶$,原本迫客人每开一支自己的酒,必要買佢的酒(HK$280-$2XXX), 我們因此要多飲3支酒。。。無良老闆不停替我們加酒,目的要加快佢賣酒的速度,酒量差的我飲到4杯已經想嘔,食物出得又慢,餐廳又十分窄小,直頭想暈倒!!!
4) 當我 friend- C 同我傾談中的時候, 黑面老闆酌酒比C, 但C冇say THANK YOU, 佢竟然訓斥C, “You didn’t say Thank you to me “!!!! 攪到C好尷尬,顧客同待應吾講 “Thank you "原來要比人訓斥!!佢真係有問題。

5) 番茄湯有番茄,但份量小兼芝士其多!但由於餐廳服務已經差極,我不想再換,務求快食,快離開。

6) 生日主角A的男親友S後來到,見到我們一班女仔飲到不支,便想同黑面老闆商量,可否可以買少一支酒,用開瓶費代替,但老闆只英文說:‘我不用跟你解釋,我已經跟A小姐講了,我餐廳開業3年,個個客都要一定要守我定的規矩,如果不滿意,你可以立刻離開。’Wah! 簡直第一次見咁冇文化的人,仲要係CENTRAL 中環區!At last 2個男人開始吵起來,黑面老闆仲:FxxK!!男親友S當然震驚,老闆會FxxK!顧客,男親友S亦還擊對抗,Birthday Dinner變成Fxxx大混戰!
7) 我為了息事寧人,叫埋單拉了S出餐廳門外冷靜,点之個粗口老闆仲要追出來,継續Fxxk我們!!!
I was super mad then! I told him to shut up, 條街是公眾的,我們已經避你而叫埋單,仲要追出來??我真要想打999!!

因為朋友生日,我去了這間餐廳試試!因為剛入到餐廳好熱,所以我一入到去就order一杯凍的non-alcohol drink!店主問我飲茶好唔好,我就叫咗杯ice tea la. 店主首先拎d茶葉出來比我閒,我就reply:"ok la"但執著的店主說"ok la是只uncertain,咁我唯有答佢"好"啦!(怪感覺)。end up 來咗杯熱茶,都算。之後,我地其中有個女仔friend 黑唒面。跟往,個店主態度一路一路唔多對路。我見個個friend 都飲酒所以我原本諗住擺隻酒杯飲少少白酒,所以我只ask for 一隻酒杯,end up 店主對住我一個開支新酒比我,我就好奇怪望下左左右右d friend 有冇order 一支新酒,end up 店主對我講:"why don't you just talk to me instead of looking around?" ( 好驚,客人唔可以兩頭望的)。跟著一連串聽到我d friend 個個話個店主好怪的事。....這間餐廳d嘢食是好好味,不過店主太有性格,執著到極點。有friend 叫咖啡又話人地唔可以落糖,又話另外一個friend 拎嘢

這間餐廳d嘢食是好好味,不過店主太有性格,執著到極點。有friend 叫咖啡又話人地唔可以落糖,又話另外一個friend 拎嘢食比佢 冇say thank you唔得!你拎幾多支酒響le moment 到飲就要響個到買噃同等數目的酒。雖然壽星女一早知這倏rule 但有friend 唔知,店主問都冇問就拎唒五六支酒出來要我地choose 買邊幾支酒,跟住唔知個個friend 就問店主點解放咁多酒出來,跟著店主答:"I don't need to talk to you, she knew why already!" (嘩,原來客人唔問得)。我地total 14人來光顧,end up 個個有分比店主吋!有些friend 忽視同店主喧行出去店門避開,店主突然走出自己店門對著自己的客戶動粗言... Saying" XXX -you, I don't like you to be here... babababab !" ( 嘩,過門都係客丫,驚訝!)我地完全冇再彩佢, 大家諗住快快手比完錢就走, 跟著店主入噃餐廳內play guitar... 真怪........

有食家講得對,如果同店主好傾就可以好好傾,如果你表現出唔滿意的樣子,你就有機會貼錢買難受....... ... 雖然食物好好食但飲食業無論如何也是服務性行業 .... 我地以後都唔會再光顧。.

每次跟這位老朋友吃飯,之後定必會再找地方喝杯咖啡,才會散場。看這家Le Moment環境好似幾輕鬆咁,便走進去作我們的下場。叫了甜品,lavande crème brulee,外層夠脆,蛋是滑,卻沒什麼薰衣草的香氣,亦欠缺蛋香,所以只屬一般。咖啡反而幾好,那杯Café Hazelnut,奶泡細密,味道十分濃郁,喝得很舒服,正是我要的那種。朋友的Café Gingerbread據說也很出色。老闆是極之talkative,即使一個人來飲杯酒或咖啡,也絕對不會覺得悶。

咖啡反而幾好,那杯Café Hazelnut,奶泡細密,味道十分濃郁,喝得很舒服,正是我要的那種。朋友的Café Gingerbread據說也很出色。

老闆是極之talkative,即使一個人來飲杯酒或咖啡,也絕對不會覺得悶。

上次來過,因當天沒咖啡供應,便只飲了花茶。今日吃了餐極咸lunch,便藉口地,來吃點甜的;和飲番杯咖啡喇。Café lolo,口感比想像中稀,好像即蘑啡,自行加奶的普通咖啡。啡味是突出,橙味只是輕微。喝到尾才吃到橙皮乾粒,唔怪之得橙味也是輕描淡寫啦。失望失望。薫衣草cream bulee,不甜的,薫衣草味極天然,但不知是否化學作用?薫衣草+蛋,好像一朕燶味。燉蛋極之多大大小小的氣孔,很不滑滑。光顧了兩次,吃罷想吃的,結果是差於預期。欣賞過牆上的手繪了,也沒什麼留戀了。
