I suggested my fiancé to try middle-eastern food with me as I was craving for it. This restaurant although is quite packed and small however the food was authentic. We ordered pittas with hummus, beef meatballs, grilled spring chicken and lamb stew. We enjoyed everything. Also I am a coffee lover so I tried the Egyptian coffee to see the difference. I came across this restaurant on Openrice news. This is my second time trying eygptian and mediterranean cuisine. We came to this restaurants just by exploring the are in search for something new! And then we turned into this small but cozy place in the middle of ktown. Food is super tasty and the lamb skewers are a must try, and I dare to say they are by far the best ones in HK. Also tried the fish tagine which was super tasty and delicious

這天經過堅尼地城，發現新開了一間小店， 是吃埃及菜的。 本身已很喜歡中東/印度這些重香草味的菜式，但沒有嘗試過埃及菜， 所以打算一試。這間小店是一個埃及來的老闆娘自己打理的， 位子不多。 透過餐廳的櫥窗能見到她一個人默默努力的製作， 一個人負責主整間店舖的食物真的不容易。這天點了鷹嘴豆泥"hummus"作前菜， 這是餐廳員工介紹的一道菜式，他跟我們說要看一間中東餐廳有沒有實力，只要一嘗他的鷹嘴豆泥便知道。 結果真的非常的好吃。主菜就點了中東烤雞， 雞本身很有鮮味，沒有我很害怕的那種雪雞味， 加上帶有香草味的中東烤汁， 真的令人一試難忘。總括來說，這是一家很有誠意的小店， 食物很有質素很有驚喜， 希望能夠一直堅持下去。

偶然見到呢間埃及及中東菜，門口細細，一對夫婦，男主外，女主內，個女仲喺門口第一張枱做緊工課。入面嘅壁畫好靚，好埃及呀！完全忘記身在香港！我點咗個午餐阿拉伯羊肉丸飯，點解羊肉丸上枱係條狀架呢，成條咩咁，哈哈哈！雖然係羊肉，但唔羶，OK喎！啲沙律清新又好味！啲飯溝過，有啲長條形嘅米，而且落咗一啲唔知咩嘢，好香好味！友人點咗個午餐烤雞飯，我偷食咗一啖烤雞，好好味喎唔燶，肉質OK，又好味必須一題，跟餐冰茶啲檸檬係靚檸檬啊！

It seemed that nobody made any booking for this restaurant. However, we did. But the point was, when we arrived, we still had to wait. So disappointed as you might anticipate the whole family waiting outside the restaurant. The portion of food was small and seemed expensive compared to the price. Disappointing on the whole!

One of the best restaurants in HK so far. Took my good buddy who never tried Egyptian before and he loved it instantly. the Falafel and the Chicken were so hot and fresh. 

Nice Egyptian food with good service!!Ordered 2 apetitizers, tabbouleh and the other with little spicy taste that comes with pita bread but I forgot the name. Tabbouleh is very refreshing but I prefer the other one Unfortunately the other apetitizer was served first and it would have been better if they could serve the tabbouleh first given the taste. 今日有別常態唔食大路菜式，相約朋友一試埃及菜。事實上本人對中東一帶菜式無咩認識，印象中香料重，味道濃，好食與否相當見仁見智。呢兩款冷頭盤相當好食！烤茄子泥同酸乳酪配香蒜青瓜好開胃，橄欖油好香，酸乳酪比烤茄子泥味道層次較為豐富，不過兩款都好值得嘗試，配搭比得飽（烤餅）食，三兩下就食晒，兩份比得飽完全唔夠喉。比得飽同印度薄餅睇落好相似，但比得飽稍為無咁多彈性，而且會比較粉。烤雞同串燒就正路，雖然睇落燒得好燶，但雞肉都好嫩滑。不過有幾款就唔係好食得慣，烤雞的飯口感比起糯米來得更要糯，而且應該撈咗椰奶或其他奶類令佢更加甜，有同行朋友好鍾意，但我自己就麻麻，所以真係好睇個人口味。燴羊肉同小麥粉同樣道理，小麥粉食落又係甜甜地，食落妹下妹下咁食，欠缺口感，而且唔係好知點食好，點汁食又溶晒，用叉食又唔係，所以有少少le hea。甜品就好好食！烤芝士原來咁好食，無芝士嘅騷味，配椰絲一齊焗好香口！另外呢個開心果酥皮又係好好食，果醬好濃，但唔會過份，同酥皮比例平均，不過呢類型嘅甜品食多兩啖就會膩，所以其實佢唔大份係好正常，份糧剛剛好就夠。

話說今日幾條友唔知食咩好，經過厚和街，多左好多間食店，見到埃及野就想試試。埃及野其實都係中東式果類嘅野食，曾經去過土耳其所以對中東野食都有啲認識，諗住可以係到回憶到啲特式味道，點知有啲失望。叫左3樣野，牛串燒飯、羊同雞嘅粗小麥粉。首先係份量好少，正常成人晚餐好難夠飽，牛肉串乾鞋，個質素一般。羊同雞嘅粗小麥粉個汁嘅味係ok嘅，用黎撈個粗小麥粉都幾好食，但係入面啲肉真係少得幾過份，可以係得兩三小粒，其餘全部都係菜，感覺太慳料，以差不多一百一個dinner又唔飽真係麻麻，因為中東菜式並不是貴價菜式。另外一個問題就係上菜極慢，等左接近45分鐘啲野食先黎。不過抵讚嘅係店員都好有禮物。

平時係堅尼地城搵餐廳食lunch，有時會經過一間叫Aziza 嘅埃及菜。今日約左同事一齊去試下。我地都係Lunch time 去試下。佢有四款唔同既Lunch set . 價錢都唔貴。都係七八十蚊再加一。去之前其實都唔會諗到埃及人係食乜，今次一試無妨既心態，我就點左 Koshary with Aziza Kofta ( $65 ) 因為我印象中嗰度食物都係燒烤，比較乾身。叫燒雞實在太危險 XD ( 好驚d 雞燒到乾爭爭) 上到菜， 係一碗有茄汁香草加上一d 白飯魚樣嘅炸洋蔥同埋pasta 同扁豆 ， 賣相一般，食落味道都還可以，茄汁味最濃，加上少少香料調味，羊肉腸就一般，冇乜特別。冇乜羊羶味。 可能因為香料調過味。我食到半路。老闆同我講要拌勻佢一齊先食，佢話正宗係咁樣食法。 哈，咁又幾得意。拌勻左又多左一種口感，因為易d 食到pasta 嘅滑，變左唔會淨係得香料茄汁飯嘅感覺。雖然話成餐唔係話好好味，但我䁷得可以感受到埃及人嘅家常菜，其實真係唔錯嘅體驗。

多得一班好同事，今日揾食兵團要出發啦！平時每日都行過呢條街搵食， 西環已經食到冇嘢可以食啦，基本上好多野都食過晒，今日突然之間見到一間食埃及菜嘅鋪頭，黑色嘅design好似好神祕咁，一於入去試下！要注意喔!!! 因為平時星期一見佢都冇開嘅，可以事先打去問下！一入去就見到工場有兩幅好靚嘅壁畫啦，使睇落去見到有啲畫筆嘅足跡， ，應該係人手逐筆逐筆畫上去嘅！好有心思！淨係食佢個環境都已經加哂分啦!Set 1: Koshary with Aziza Kofta ($65) - Koshray 本身就係埃及嘅傳統食物，幾乎每一家每一戶都會識整，材料就有飯+pasta+小扁豆，撈捚一齊之後再係上面加d辣番茄醬同vinegar做sauce，面頭再灑幾咋鷹嘴豆同炸過嘅洋蔥，咁就搞掂啦！而Kofta，簡單黎講就係肉製品，以佢地就整左羊肉腸。味道都幾特別，平時廣東藥唔會食到嘅，有同事好鐘意，有同事就覺得咸左少少，我自己都幾鐘意個飯，連捚d炸洋蔥好正! 老闆仲得登行過黎同我地講要所有野撈埋一齊食先係最正宗嘅! Set 2: Koshary with Dawoud Basha ($68) 都係Koshray不
