For a small area of Hong Kong, San Po Kong has  a lot of bakeries ranging from ones toting they learned their craft from Frane, Taiwan or Japan. But then there are old ones as well. Such as 金屋麵包西餅. A bakery that has been here since the 70s. It's your typical local Hong Kong bakery, selling very typical local bread like sausage buns, pineapple buns, etc.But the most oddest bread found here is this. A curry fish ball bun. For $4 only.Opening it up, you can see a single fish ball coated with curry sauce. The bread was nice and sweet. The ball was very firm.  But wow! Was the curry spicy! You don't taste it at first but then it hits you and it stays with you. For a LONG LONG time. It just wouldn't go away. It was interesting little find though. 係 YouTube 睇到金屋麵包既故事,就好想去支持一下,同試下佢既麵包係咪真係唔同。店面冇特別裝修過,保留舊有麵包店色彩,價錢一點都唔貴,仲可以用個平字黎形容,真係非常之好。另外麵包款式非常多感覺驚喜。一次過買了5個麵包,諗著返屋企食同做早餐,點知一食就停唔到口,麵包非常有口感,絕對唔係果D連鎖式麵包店甘食空氣。令我食完一個又一個,真係未試過甘鐘意食麵包。為左以後可以食甘高質素既麵包,一有時間就一定要去支持佢地繼續整優質麵包。 繼續閱讀

睇到雜誌介紹,比D懷舊麵包吸引左,到此一遊.見到門口好多人,心想都應該唔錯啩!買左都好多包包回家慢慢試.香蕉蛋糕$12:味道一般,冇咩牛油味,香蕉味更加小之又小,好粗糙下.戚風蛋糕$14:好軟熟,只有小小甜味,冇咩蛋糕味.雪山栗子包$7:味道好一般,栗子味都可以,份量唔多.忌廉墨西哥包$5.5:最好嘅一樣,忌廉香滑,麵包軟熟,麵包面金黃色嘅醬,好香,好重牛油味,正!紅豆包$7.5:味道好一般,紅豆份量好小.大雞尾包$6:好難食,好硬,椰絲又小又唔香,失敗之作!睇怕都冇下次! 繼續閱讀

好耐無食過金屋的麵包,難得見到當然要入去買.一望俾熱狗的兩片蕃茄吸引了,最後用了6.5買一隻熱狗.麵包是芝麻包,尚算鬆軟.腸仔外表煎得過以,以為裏面的腸都乾晒,點知又唔係喎!腸仔應該唔係劣質貨,最少都食到腸仔味和應有的鹹味.除了蕃茄和生菜外,尚有酸瓜,這個包酸咪咪不錯,也可算是近來吃過最好味的熱狗呢服務好一般,店員無笑容不特止,仲唔多理人,需要改善呢 繼續閱讀

今日路過....見到d蛋撻好抵,2蚊一個,9蚊6個size一般,唔係迷你果d,都要幾口先食得完咁就買左6個......佢唔係放係爐度,只係好似d麵包咁擺係度所以唔會係熱辣辣無翻熱, 都ok好味,蛋滑唔會過甜皮鬆而脆 本身想再買佢其他包,但係見到下面咁講,我諗我都唔會架啦....睇佢門面都幾市正ga或者蛋撻會再買ge..我諗蛋撻入面d料佢拎唔返掛.... 繼續閱讀
