For a small area of Hong Kong, San Po Kong has a lot of bakeries ranging from ones toting they learned their craft from Frane, Taiwan or Japan. But then there are old ones as well. Such as 金屋麵包西餅. A bakery that has been here since the 70s. It's your typical local Hong Kong bakery, selling very typical local bread like sausage buns, pineapple buns, etc.But the most oddest bread found here is this. A curry fish ball bun. For $4 only.Opening it up, you can see a single fish ball coated with curry

Opening it up, you can see a single fish ball coated with curry sauce. The bread was nice and sweet. The ball was very firm. But wow! Was the curry spicy! You don't taste it at first but then it hits you and it stays with you. For a LONG LONG time. It just wouldn't go away. It was interesting little find though. Definitely a bun I've not seen before.
