終於有日心血來潮突然好想食麻辣,於是就的起心肝搭車過去。一坐低睇餐牌,樣樣都想食,但得兩個人,邊有可能樣樣都試,況且尹生唔多受得辣,但老闆話可以揀大、中、細辣,於是我地就叫左兩個酸辣粉試試,又叫左個四季豆。

酸辣粉超好食,不過份量真係小左d,四季豆炒得好有鑊氣,不過就唔辣 (岩尹生食),假如辣就岩我!粉嘅麻辣味超香,喺第度根本搵唔到呢種味道,喺香港好少會搵到正宗麻多過辣嘅川菜!

不過一碗粉咁少真係唔夠飽,於是我食完又再叫多碗,真係越食越想食,唔知係咪人人口味都唔同,有人食川菜要汽水又要冰水,又會食到滿頭大汗,但我就幾受得麻辣味,仲覺得好好食!

總括來說,味道超好,不過酸辣粉嘅份量同價錢就有d唔成正比!

其實我並唔係咁食得辣, 但係見到呢度評語咁好~都好想黎試下…本來想同同事一齊黎可以食多0的, 點知約極都未約到~突然心血來潮, 特登搭車去紅磡買…本來仲擔心好難搵, 點知架巴士經過果陣就見到好多人, 實唔會見唔到~一個人食既關係, 所以我只係叫左一個酸辣粉外賣, 本來想要大腸, 但係無, 所以要左牛栢葉…一返到屋企即刻準備好大大杯水, 份量唔多, 好快就食完…食既時候都ok, 食完就覺得好麻好熱…味道真係唔錯呢~攪到食完我勁想去試埋佢果個蒜泥白肉…噢~不過食完之後一日我個口生左五粒飛滋……..我唔知關唔關碗粉事….唔知係咪刺激得濟……….

If I may borrow a well-known phrase from Dickens: "This is the best of PLCAES, this is the worst of PLACES". "Best", because for taste alone, no doubt this place serves excellent and authentic Sichuan food - totally competent and comparable (if not better !) to some local private kitchens that I have tried before. Tried the 酸辣粉, chilli thousand year old egg, and 魔芋 with duck, all of which were very good and super hot and spicy. The thousand year old egg was especially good - really mushy centre

The thousand year old egg was especially good - really mushy centre and delicious in taste !
On the other hand, "worst", because of the setting and service. There are really only 2 tables and that's it. You get lots of people lining up for takeaways. Service is almost minimal, and be prepared to wait a while (I mean, usually more than 15-20mins at least) for your orders (only one chef, and they are VERY BUSY).
But this should not deter foodies (myself included, of course !!) to try again. One word of caution though- popular items like 蒜泥白肉 get sold out really quickly and be sure to arrive as early as possible if you really want to try the special stuff. A real gem !!

我同男友都係嗜辣之人...不過之前個胃唔好...停食咗一排最近辣癮又起.....記得佢屋企附近有間聯記川王...專賣四川風味食物.....飲X男女都介紹過上openrice睇食評...好壞參半....一於自己試吓....因為食店環境麻麻....所以我地外賣自取~川北涼粉.....辣到噴火....不過涼粉質感一般...一夾即斷....麻婆米豆腐....即係米糕....我中意佢既口感...同樣辣到噴火辣子雞.....成盒只見辣子....雞肉得好少....唔推介.....雞絲涼麵....十個好味...不過好辣!!! 紅油抄手.....好好味.....唔太辣!!有興趣去食既人要留意...老闆逢月尾都同陪老闆娘番四川一次...時間約十天左右, 如果唔想食閉門羹既話...最好先致電~

It was October last year that I first came here to try the food. Since then, my husband and I have become hooked and we visit this place from time to time. Mostly we bought takeaway (no easy task, consider that we live on the Island) as we are not too keen on "alfresco" dining.
Here are some of the dishes that we've tried so far:
White pork with mashed garlic ($35): Thinly sliced pork belly and lots of crushed garlic. The pork was cooked and cooled immediately in ice water. On the side is smashed cucumber. All very exciting. I've never had it so good.
Cloud Ear salad ($20): Taste of hot and sour.
Chilie Chicken ($40): I suppose for this price they won't use fresh chicken but it still taste of chicken. Superb.
Pig ear in red oil ($28): Crispy pig ear in a bed of spicy red oil. Fantastic!
Fish in a chilie broth ($33 for small portion): Very peppery, very hot and spicy.
Stir-fried long bean with mince pork ($23): One of the mildest dish that served here.
Service is efficient. The propietor's wife (also the chef) always greet us with a sweet smile!

There was an ounce of hesitation in me when I realize that I'm going to be in Hung Hom for dinner, and secretly gasped in horror that the group would make 4 stops (for dinner) before calling it a night. Arriving at this extremely agreeable joint right next to the legendary 時新, I honestly say that I have rarely see this side of Hung Hom, as I assumed the entire area was full of student housing and funeral homes. Disregarding the dreary spirits of one kind or another that seem to be lingering arou

There was an ounce of hesitation in me when I realize that I'm going to be in Hung Hom for dinner, and secretly gasped in horror that the group would make 4 stops (for dinner) before calling it a night. Arriving at this extremely agreeable joint right next to the legendary 時新, I honestly say that I have rarely see this side of Hung Hom, as I assumed the entire area was full of student housing and funeral homes. Disregarding the dreary spirits of one kind or another that seem to be lingering around, eating with a crowd here is certainly a great way to start the club. There are no benches or whatever, in fact only wooden bench against the counter and one round table with plastic chair. Seeing that, together with the sweet yet numbing smell of toasted Szechuan peppercorns and cumin seeds assured me that this, is going to be a fine meal.

The space is simultaneously private and public, in a sense that nobody will bother you when you eat (private) while you sit on the streetside (public). We promptly ordered Hot and Sour Noodles (酸辣粉). The noodles were in a faintly spicy broth with chockful of pickled mustard greens and floating bubbles of chili oil. The noodles, having made from yams, went perfectly with the broth, and remained a delightful bite to the texture. A communal order of "Cold noodles with shredded chicken" was a fine and filling choice for quick bites. The chicken are cooked just enough to retain moist texture and flavour as well, combining with Chinese celery for crunch form a rather interesting dish.

Sliced Pork in Spicy Garlic Sauce (蒜泥白肉) is definitely the star of the show. Poached pork shavings were neatly piled (in layers) on a porcelain plate covered up with garlicky sauce and chili oil. There was so much garlic in it to keep vampires off limits. Garlic aside, the pork is the best I've eaten served this way. The sauce has plenty of chilies but that did not go overboard into numbing heat (that came later into the meal). Fish cooked in Spicy Broth (水煮魚) consisted of chunks of carp served bone-in. The broth is thinner than usually served, and tasted not as spicy as anticipated. I've had better ones elsewhere and there certainly is room to tune up the heat with this one.

Two Spicy dishes came our way -- Ox Tongue (麻辣牛舌) and Konnyaku (麻辣魔芋). The ox tongue is well marinated and cut into thin slices, cooked and tossed in a sauce that accentuated on five-spice and star anise, with strong notes of Szechuan Peppercorns that yield the numbness after the initial hit of heat. Konnyaku surprisingly did not taste like the chewy jelly kin we have in hotpots, in fact the texture resembled most to a firmer tofu. With a similar sauce but the addition of pickled mustard greens and a fresh sprinkled of green onions the konnyaku easily become another popular order in this joint.

We rounded up our meal with a "Cold tossed Starch noodle" (川北涼粉). With minimal heat offered to us the starch noodles, made of mung bean starch, are a specialty in the Szechuan province in China. With this dish they are lightly tossed with a sauce composed of a mixed blend of chilies with the indispensable Szechuan peppercorns and ground cumin, together with chopped up peanuts for an extra crunch. The result is a soft-hard two-way punch that offered everything you think a cold dish should be like.

The meal has been wonderful throughout, despite on one occasion the waiting time lasted for about 45 minutes for one dish to come, but with this many people crowding at this joint and popular dishes sold out every night long before closing time, it is recommended that you arrive early and place your orders early. Don't mind the waiting time, you'll think it's all worth the time and effort.

點解話有誠意? 因為他們每月至少會放7日假, 做得辛苦放假好正常, 但事實不是那麼簡單, 他們放假主要原因係返四川辨貨, 因為覺得香港材料不夠正宗, 而一次入大量材料又會變壞, 認真程度爆燈 講返食物, 此處堅持正宗, 絕對不會是港式川菜, 最多只會有不同辣度選擇, 大部份菜式好食又正宗之餘, 價錢亦相當便宜, 我由其喜愛他們的酸辣粉, 川北涼粉, 老干媽干煸炒肥腸, 蒜泥紅油白肉, 酸豆角肉碎等等... 其實做食物的跟做人一樣, 只要堅持做最好的給人, 無論你外表如何, 亦不愁沒有捧場客

幾日前一個人走去, 呢間野舖仔細細好似最多開到兩台加兩個吉位......食左水煮牛肉酸辣粉28蚊28蚊泥講呢碗野細左少少, 不過勝在夠辣, 花椒粉亦足.主角牛肉冇比人"拿"到變海棉, 仲有咬口.而粉條本身吸哂d湯汁, 十分正.今日剛剛食完大利, 完全失望後轉戰聯記. 食左酸辣血旺同魔芋. 血旺本身唔夠熱亦唔夠味, 要靠碗底d醋救命....好一般.反而魔芋又滑又彈有返d驚喜.下次可以試下白肉同水煮類...嗯..

第一次出席窮鬼飯局,一行九人到紅磡的聯記川王覓食,到涉後驚見這小小的食店,竟出現人流不息的盛況,結果我們只是等位也苦等了一小時。由於是日涼粉沽清,退而求其次點了大腸酸辣粉 (小辣),另一方面南瓜一早預留了蒜泥白肉、水煮魚、麻辣牛脷、雞絲涼麵等美食,先談事前我從未食過的酸辣粉,單是靠近聞一聞已十分搶鼻,第一口食落即通鼻塞 ,幸之後慢慢習慣了那感覺,湯底不算太辣,配上大腸的酸辣粉咬落蠻有質感,但真的十分佩服子陵兄竟可視大辣如無物,看來我也要向川菜這方面進修一下呢...眾人解決掉酸辣粉後,一直期待的美食卻久久未有出場,等了又等,足足又等了四十五分鐘,老闆才恍然大悟似的將蒜泥白肉、水煮魚、麻辣牛脷、雞絲涼麵一一呈上 = ="。此時此刻,雖有點無奈,但總要試試這些招牌菜吧! 蒜泥白肉賣相精緻,同行友人均大讚此菜式,我覺得蒜泥味濃,令肉片生色不少,咬落感覺也不太油膩,如可再辣一點更好! 水煮魚魚肉十分嫩滑,只是較多骨,只好放棄;雞絲涼麵雖簡簡單單,麵條爽口,合格之作! 麻辣牛脷,大碟夾抵食,不知何解味道反而沒有酸辣粉的辣,但也值得推介 人流太旺令環境有點壓迫感,不大適合大夥人,加上由廚房傳出那陣陣

由九月等到十月再到十一月,聯記我等到你了,沒有裝潢沒有招呼,有的是一道又一道有誠意用心的菜餚。酸辣粉--有咬勁的紅薯粉配上香辣帶酸的湯底即使滴著汗水也忍不住要一口又一口爬到嘴裡。口水雞--份量十足,辣中不失雞的鮮味麻辣牛肉--麻勁十足配上帶根的金錢展送油一絕

口水雞--份量十足,辣中不失雞的鮮味

老闆放了兩個月大假~這個情意結終於都解得開~今日一落天橋就見到佢終於開~好開心~今天lunch time時候~諗住過黎碰下運氣~見到佢開~~真係開心到唔知點~時間尚早~未有太多人~還發現了2張新banner~呵見有位~~~就決定面壁吃一頓~老闆仍然好好人~有講有笑~因為個個熟客都等左好耐啦~~個個都話以為佢唔做~放假咁開心~老闆同老闆娘~放完假真係容光煥發今天未有川北涼粉住~呢兩日多野做~~唔可以亂黎~~~就要了中辣的泡椒魔芋~加了木耳~貢菜~青瓜~唉呀~唔記得走青!青瓜用手拆開再拍至熔熔的~勁gd~魔芋又比米涼粉為好~因為本身都有少少味~但下次要個大大大辣先得~其實約了大比在附近等~但見呢度有開~都唔洗打比我了~果然找到面壁中的小比~~~見不少人叫回鍋肉飯~也來了一個~ 一個餐還有清甜ge涼茶送呢~並沒有吃過回鍋肉~原來有點豉椒炒腩肉的感覺~default是小小辣的~但大比還是覺得有點辣~結果看見你比平日細胃口得多~ 小比就吃罷所有辣椒才收手~~~~先在凍櫃睇睇是日存貨~有白肉bor~當然要碟蒜泥白肉~~小辣就可以了~大比看到後~潛意識已經覺得~~好辣但係白肉薄得透光~蒜泥不會過濃烈

今天未有川北涼粉住~呢兩日多野做~~唔可以亂黎~~~
就要了中辣的泡椒魔芋~加了木耳~貢菜~青瓜~唉呀~唔記得走青!
青瓜用手拆開再拍至熔熔的~勁gd~魔芋又比米涼粉為好~因為本身都有少少味~
但下次要個大大大辣先得~
其實約了大比在附近等~但見呢度有開~都唔洗打比我了~
果然找到面壁中的小比~~~見不少人叫回鍋肉飯~也來了一個~
一個餐還有清甜ge涼茶送呢~並沒有吃過回鍋肉~原來有點豉椒炒腩肉的感覺~
default是小小辣的~但大比還是覺得有點辣~結果看見你比平日細胃口得多~
小比就吃罷所有辣椒才收手~~~~
先在凍櫃睇睇是日存貨~有白肉bor~當然要碟蒜泥白肉~~小辣就可以了~
大比看到後~潛意識已經覺得~~好辣
但係白肉薄得透光~蒜泥不會過濃烈過咸~其實不是太辣~
但大比還是受不了~但小的可是十個愛~難得會吃得多肉的一天~
把蒜蓉都包進白肉來吃.....一流!!!!!
以後會隔日黎的了~~這麼近....
不過記住..每月21到27號會休息啊~~

間中會來聯記食酸辣粉 因為唔系好貴,岩我呢種中意好嘢平嘢O既人啦...呵...酸辣粉個份量唔O系好多,岩岩夠食 唔會曬嘢...D粉O既口感好好 重點O系 個湯仲整得好濃 酸酸辣辣O甘 好開胃 最可惜呢度無得噗住冷氣咁嘆美食啦... 所以有時阿媽唔煮飯果時就O系度買外賣返去食。食開O既餸有幾樣 : 水煮魚 食完個嘴都麻曬啦... 蒜泥白肉 D蒜超多超夠份量啊! 阿媽就最中意呢個啦,仲話D豬肉O系乜豬後脾肉 話好彈牙.... 口水雞 麻辣牛肉 雞絲涼面 酸辣炒土豆絲.....

自從見到飲食男女介紹之後,專登搵左兩友好辣既人仕去試呢川王,點知一試就大獲,我地三日真係上左癮,唔夠一個月,竟然去左四次...食過既食物有口水雞川北涼粉椒泡鳯瓜酸辣粉酸辣麵毛血旺米線雞絲涼麵我最喜愛既食物有酸辣粉同口水雞,蒜泥白肉都好正,返而水煮乜水煮乜果d就冇咩食過...因為太小人,每次都唔可以食好多種類...其實今次寫食評除左要讚佢d食物之外,最主要係同各住食家講,老板同老板娘返左四川呀,由八月廿一日開始到九月三十日呀,要十月一日先開門呀,佢地今次放長假呀,所以你地十月先好再去啦,唔好摸門釘呀...

我最喜愛既食物有酸辣粉同口水雞,蒜泥白肉都好正,返而水煮乜水煮乜果d就冇咩食過...因為太小人,每次都唔可以食好多種類...

其實今次寫食評除左要讚佢d食物之外,最主要係同各住食家講,老板同老板娘返左四川呀,由八月廿一日開始到九月三十日呀,要十月一日先開門呀,佢地今次放長假呀,所以你地十月先好再去啦,唔好摸門釘呀...

四川菜迷的我點會唔嚟呢度食番次真係未試過咁熱食辣嘢,熱辣辣留哂汗都幾得意試第1味水煮魚講真D味道唔係我平時係滿江紅、北京、青島等內地食既水煮魚佢唔知用咩魚勁多魚骨而且個汁好杰一D都唔好食口水雞都不錯,雪雞就一定係個汁將雪味掩蓋滿江紅半隻跟它差不多分量,只係滿江紅個雞雪味無聯記咁重但個汁係好相似但聯記只係$40蚊分量又足滿江紅$108要加一你話邊度抵食蒜泥白肉先係無得頂$35蚊分量多蒜容又多最緊要係好食家陣食乜嘢D份量都好小,但聯記老細真係一D都唔孤寒佢需然唔係笑面迎人但佢真係好好生意,但又唔會持住好生意而寸口個次係夜晚去真係等左好耐先有得食,唔緊要好食一定等下次一定再去

家陣食乜嘢D份量都好小,但聯記老細真係一D都唔孤寒
佢需然唔係笑面迎人但佢真係好好生意,但又唔會持住好生意而寸口
個次係夜晚去真係等左好耐先有得食,唔緊要好食一定等下次一定再去
