If I may borrow a well-known phrase from Dickens: "This is the best of PLCAES, this is the worst of PLACES". "Best", because for taste alone, no doubt this place serves excellent and authentic Sichuan food - totally competent and comparable (if not better !) to some local private kitchens that I have tried before. Tried the 酸辣粉, chilli thousand year old egg, and 魔芋 with duck, all of which were very good and super hot and spicy. The thousand year old egg was especially good - really mushy centre
