今次係第 一 次幫襯,朋友聞名橋底辣蟹好味就陪他一試。環境和坐位尚算舒適,服務生服務良好,但價錢略貴。招牌橋底辣蟹,辣味好像蓋了肉質鮮味。蠔餅好油膩,賣相和大排檔上碟的差別不大,但味道尚可以接受。豉椒炒蜆最夠味,不太辣。蒜容粉絲蒸元貝,味道挺不錯, 不夠淋身,韌了一點。

四月八日 (星期五)同事常去的地方,我倒是第一回滿有期望的,可惜...最著名的橋底辣蟹當然不可錯過點了兩隻細的,(但細的仍要索價每隻$380大元!!!)見到功夫的,用了大量的香蒜蟹肉頗滑,但因是細size,所以並沒有太多蟹肉$760一碟,真的不甘心白灼花螺頗濃的酒味,花螺肉鮮是晚其中一道合格的餸菜黃金海中蝦蝦肉極不新鮮,沒有爽口的感覺蛋黃也不夠多,根本做不到黃金的效果芝士海鮮伊麵煲海鮮欠奉伊麵配上芝士永遠是肥膩但又誘人之選!招絲腐乳通菜是晚熱氣,特地點一個炒菜中和一下誰知完全沒有腐乳可言通菜也不新鮮,很梅的椒鹽蒽仔骨算是全晚最具水準的排骨炸得很香脆,但去了油,完全不覺油膩蠔仔肉碎粥蠔仔很細粒,幸好尚有鮮蠔味肉碎粥本身也做得不錯,飯粒硬度適中加上蠔仔和湯很入味魚湯浸蜆這個沒什特別只喝到很濃的胡椒味,一點魚湯味也沒有蜆肉也沒有味道,一點也不新鮮結帳,每人二百多元不值得,也充分感受到期望越大,失望越大的道理!

晚上从迪斯尼回来做地铁从铜锣湾c出口一路摸索找到这家店。听说他们家的避风塘抄蟹很有名,我们两个女生一坐下就要了两盘,一个中辣,一个重辣。一盘一只蟹,要价380。蟹的肉质有弹性,但是总是觉得量少了一些,性价比不高还要了一盘鲮鱼干炒生菜,两碗粥,结账870。觉得就宵夜角度来说,价钱贵了。

我们一行两人,晚上七点半左右到达,叫了蒜蓉蒸圣子,泥猛粥及鼓汁炒蚬蒜蓉蒸圣子好美味啊,又粗又爽又鲜甜,蒜蓉味又岩岩好,而且先35蚊一只,物有所值泥猛粥唔好食,一的鱼的鲜味都无,失败鼓汁炒蚬好咸啊,而且一的都唔鲜甜,都是失败

前晚七點左右,我地兩個人去左總店,點左三樣野,辣蟹一隻(兩個人吃380),瀨尿蝦一隻,同一碟芥蘭,味道無得彈,太好食LA,其中辣蟹點既係小辣,上菜個陣只係見到辣椒,蟹已經 淹沒係辣椒下面,有D恐怖,但係食落又唔係好辣WOR,一邊食一邊飲可樂真係爽啊。瀨尿蝦有D細隻,不過味道都好好,後悔無再點一隻,芥蘭既味道都唔錯,正好清下熱氣。雖然出品係好,但係環境差D,同大排擋差唔多。

I am not a spicy person (in many ways I am not), but I am always up for it when it comes to food ventures! This time my cousin K who are still visiting as I type this review, love crab so much that she can do the entire one herself! (I am sure she can!) She isn't the spicy kind of person as well but according to her, chili crab is one of the two spicy food she is willing to eat no matter how spicy or how swollen her lips are after the meal.The 4 of us ordered quite a few but of course we cleaned

She isn't the spicy kind of person as well but according to her, chili crab is one of the two spicy food she is willing to eat no matter how spicy or how swollen her lips are after the meal.

The 4 of us ordered quite a few but of course we cleaned them all! This branch of "Under the Bridge Spicy Crab" seems to have undergone a renovation and no longer carried the Dai Pai Dong feel which I preferred. Perhaps I went to the wrong outlet? humm ... Anyhow, the most important thing is of course the quality of the food. However, I think the overall quality has dropped compared to my last visit sometime last year.

First came the Sautéed Shrimps in Maggi Sauce (Pan-fried to be exact I think) and it was a bit too salty. Beer is required to wash down it down for sure. Quite fresh and texture was quite firm, a fair dish.

Had better congee elsewhere but not sure that many places would offer Rabbit Fishes Congee. Maybe I just haven't explored enough places yet. Quite a lot of fish bones so be very careful when eating.

As for the Steamed Razor clams with green beans vermicelli and garlic, plenty of garlic, way too many if you ask me. I know this is the usual way to prepare it but the amount of glaric and its flavors simply overwhelmed the sweetness of the clams. I personally prefer another cooking method. However, for garlic lover, you will love this for sure.

The Sautéed Clams with chili and bean sauce was another test for your taste buds! The flavors of the sauce was good but again a bit overwhelming for my personal liking. Again, this is the traditional / common way of preparing this, just not my thing I guess.

The highlight of the night was of course the Famous Under the Bridge Spicy Crab. Was it as promising as it sounded? Ah well, I am sorry to say that I cannot comment on it because I did not eat. I tried a few bites of the deep fried garlic and it was OH MY kind of chili / spicy! I had to stop because I have not been up to that standard or level of tolerance with chili yet.

Then again, look at how my other cousin, T, fiddled with the crab with his forehead dripping of sweat! It was a sign of good food right?

They cleaned it! Well all the crabs at least.

Since I did not eat much of the crab, I ordered the Deep Fired Crisp Pig's Intestines. Yum! Crisp layer with a fatty layer in between. Firm to the bite, chewy yet not overly so, together with the sauce it was pretty good.

Likes:
Deep Fired Crisp Pig's Intestines - firm to the bite and chewy yet not overly so.
Famous Under the Bridge Spicy Crab - based on my cousins reactions, it should be very good but definitely very spicy as well.

Dislikes:
Sautéed Shrimps in Maggi Sauce - very rich and intense sauce, a bit overwhelming
Steamed Razor clams - overwhelming garlic flavors

Avg Spending: HKD 200 - 300 per person (if you order the crab)

最高領袖一向是橋底辣蟹Super Fans. 由兩舊幾中蟹食到接近4舊1隻, 真係有d定唔緊 我兩口了通常揀平日去, 冇咁多人, 廚房水準穩定d1) 中辣中蟹 - 惹味到呢, 火喉啱啱好, 肉重好嫩口2) 豉汁炒蜆 - 味道亦非惹味, 個人比較喜歡細蜆 3) 豉油皇炒麵 - 另一招牌野 試過其他野, 冇乜驚喜!P.S. 阿祈叔服務揀蟹最好, 不過過左新鋪埋單5舊幾, 開始有d唔底食 !!

Let’s get to the food:
- Chili crab: this is single handily one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Its crab fried with a huge amount of this fried crispy garlic, scallions and peppers. This garlic is weird its super crispy and its not nearly as strong as regular garlic cloves, so you can eat a lot of it, I was literally taking spoonfuls of it. The crab has such a good flavor with everything. I just can’t say enough about how good this was.
- Spare ribs: I don’t know what this was called in Chinese b/c I didn’t order anything (big group of like 8-9 people), these were awesome. They came in a clay pot and were battered and fried and then glazed with some sort of sweet and sour sauce, but these were different than jing du pai gu, they were less sweet and brownish as opposed to red, there were some pineapples in the clay pot as well. The meat was nice and tender, the sauce wasn’t overly sweet. Just really awesome
- Braised fish head: this is the one thing I ordered, I showed up a little late so they had already ordered, but I saw fish head soup on the menu and it looked good. The guy told me they ran out, but he had braised fish head, so I said okay. Awesome, braised in some sort of spicy soy sauce with chilis and scallions. The meat on the head was so tender and the sauce tasted amazing with this dish, super good.
- Spicy clams: my friend ordered this, another “wow” type of dish. Clams stir fried in this brown spicy sauce, so flavorful. The sauce was amazing, wasn’t heavy or goopy, not too salty just really good. The clams were nice and fresh too.
- Chili mantis prawn: same thing as chili crab with mantis prawn, really good. I forgot that mantis prawn can be really good if you cook it right, tastes like a slightly sweeter lobster, another huge winner

Overall, best meal in HK and probably best meal of the trip. I really loved this place and it’s a super fun place to drink a lot of beer and eat some amazing food.

每逢節日或特別日子,唔係食西餐就係日本菜,生日想轉口味試中菜。果日響銅鑼灣行街,於是就沿住大街行去灣仔,搵下有無美食。見到橋底辣蟹,俾佢門口貼住眾多明星光臨的相片吸引住,而且又有好多日本人坐在門口等位,於是就決定試下。呢間野既招牌菜應該係辣蟹,因為差唔多每台都叫呢味菜,不過我就厭拆蟹麻煩,無叫到。叫左炒蜆、炒牛肉菇、蟹湯伊麵1)炒蜆:辣&鹹,而且幾油下,有幾隻蜆無開殼2)炒牛肉菇:又係好辣&鹹,不過都幾好味,因為我鍾意食菇3)蟹湯伊麵:三樣菜入面最鍾意呢味,不過唔記得影相店員對外國人既服務態度幾好,好詳細解釋菜單&酒。不過餐廳既客人比較多,環境擠迫,見住d服務員響你台邊行黎行去真係有點礙人。因為今餐太辣&鹹,所以兩個人叫左4碗飯,埋單約$160。總結:鍾意食海鮮,又食得辣&鹹既人,不妨一試。

不過餐廳既客人比較多,環境擠迫,見住d服務員響你台邊行黎行去真係有點礙人。
因為今餐太辣&鹹,所以兩個人叫左4碗飯,埋單約$160。

總結:鍾意食海鮮,又食得辣&鹹既人,不妨一試。

以前未開隔隣新店前,來過幾次,今日特別介紹友人到來,誰知新店早已爆滿,只有再逼入樓梯底舊舖。侍應話價錢和新店一樣,但沒有加一,好抵食。三個人叫了一隻細蟹,小辣,$280。來到,蟹大大隻,蓋滿金黃色蒜蓉,一陣陣蒜香撲鼻,熱辣辣,蟹鉗特別巨型,食落香口惹味,啖啖肉,肉質鮮美厚實,超好味。其他蟹身蟹腳,都非常正,不虛此行。再叫了一個蒜香骨,汗醬惹味,再來一個玉子豆腐,則中規中矩。後座來了位講普通話的單身客,一個人叫了一隻細蟹,中辣,吃得呼呼叫辣,好過癮,吃完再叫了一碟牛河,吃了兩口,話飽到頂住,放下筷子就埋單。看來很多都是慕名而來的遊客。

Came here one late night for supper, but not sure which shops are more worthy of visiting to be honest as we did not do prior research. Came here one late night for supper, but not sure which shops are more worthy of visiting to be honest as we did not do prior research. SAN MIGUEL BEER - Philipino beer with Chinese Crabs! They don't have much other sensible choices.

椒鹽瀨尿蝦, MANTIS SHRIMP - Asked for an extra-large Female Version with Roe! I actually wanted to eat this in a more natural way, such as steamed or boiled, but my friend wanted a bit of 'fiery kick' in the dish so I was ok with her choice. When this came, it wasn't cooked enough, it was still slimey inside and transparent, despite being fresh. You know, this costed like $300 believe it or not, ridiculous for only 1 piece.


橋底辣蟹 - I ordered this Signature dish thinking it's actually Fried Chili Crab, similar to the Malaysian or Thai style, but out come 避風塘炒辣蟹! That means, the taste is nearly the same as the above Mantis Shrimp dish. This dish is called 避風塘炒蟹 everywhere else in Hong Kong, I don't know why it carries a slightly misleading name here. But if I have to blame, I guess I'm half responsible for letting my guard down and being a bit mixed up between the cuisines! This was ok-good, the crab didn't have too much 泥味 either, but didn't have much crab taste. The flavours haven't penetrated into the meat enough either, and it wasn't chili at all.

葱油雞 - This has a special pricing policy and only costs very little as an incentive to draw in customers. The chicken had slight chicken taste, but it was very tough and the sauce was slightly artificial, like sweetened soy sauce. Left nearly untouched.

OVERALL - The quality of the food isn't good enough to justify for the very expensive prices - my experience at 屯門's 海天花園酒家 was heaps better and much more refined and sophisticated, that has to be one of the best seafood restaurants around - it was even less expensive. Service however was amazingly good, the waitstaff always replenishing us with Tea and Wet Paper Towels without asking - liked that a lot! Not sure I'd return in a hurry though. Later research of the other 2-3 major competitors around here, show some promise as well at lower prices.

A MID '2' to MID '3' at most.

其實係慣咗,食辣蟹梗泥橋底,是多年習慣,其他地方試過又滿足唔到三人費事太辣要了$280細的蟹,小辣,如常惹味,乾身爆肉,中辣其實會更好的送的沙薑雞腳幾好的,不過好似熟客才有炒蜆 - 蜆細D,但最緊要惹味蒸聖子 - 爽口鮮味,garlic同粉絲一流油鹽水蜆 - 用大蜆,湯正,I like 炒蜆多D椒鹽九肚魚 - 夠火喉便正蠔仔粥 - 味得,但D飯呢次林咗D扣分送糖水

一行七人到橋底辣蟹光顧,試了幾款海鮮。橋底辣蟹(微辣):雖說微辣,但已有足夠辣味。肉蟹新鮮,肉厚結實。配料固之然香口惹味,但也十分油膩熱氣,只適合少吃品嚐!薑葱肉蟹:和橋底辣蟹比較,無咁香口,但因蟹肉新鮮,都ok蒜蓉粉絲蒸扇貝:扇貝不算很大隻,味道較鹹白灼海中蝦:用料新鮮。可能因白灼關係,味道普通XO醬炒鱔球:唔太覺有XO醬味,鱔球味道一般啦葱油雞:肉「鞋」,麻麻地炒豆苗:很老,有滓,一D都唔嫩口,no good西湖牛肉羮:偏鹹,不過料足(尤其是牛肉粒),味ok避風塘抄飯:唔夠乾身,一般腐竹糖水(免費):不太甜,多腐竹,ok喎
