所有人都好有禮貌,有問必答,有求必應。女士門冇位放手袋,佢地會攞張櫈仔黎。食野中途好多時個碟會好多骨或者好多汁,唔洗你叫佢地都會好細心咁幫你換碟。
全晚最感動既係因為離港既親友好鍾意食上海名菜之一既XX(為免有人受責,所以唔好意思唔可以寫明食左乜),但係餐廳講明冇,不過幾經我地哀求,佢就破例煮比我地食(但講明只此一次),當然係超好食啦。


味道:我成日覺得上海餸比較肥膩,不過嗰晚夜上海煮出黎既食物好食得黎完全唔肥膩,感覺健康左。
所以更加要比滿分

 馬蘭頭:夠乾身,切得夠幼細,味道清中帶甜,好啱好似我唔係好鍾意食菜既人。

 醉雞:新鮮雞做,所以雞骨帶紅(阿媽教睇既
)。酒味啱啱好,唔會太少又唔會太濃。
 清炒蝦仁:嘩,d蝦好細粒呀
。友人話係河蝦黎既,唔係到到有得食
,因為mock蝦殼都mock到手軟
唔係到到都肯哂時間
。好清甜好好食呀!
必吃推介!完全唔油膩,連醋都唔使落。
正到dum dum dum!!!
 片皮鴨:所有皮都已經去哂肥,好脆好乾身,冇得彈。

 鴨鬆:切得啱size,炒得夠乾身,一d都唔油,味道唔會過濃,唔用個包食都唔會覺得咸。

 奶油津白:原本聽到個名已經覺得好肥,但係黎到見到個賣相幾ok,所以就試下啦。雖然話係用奶油做,但係唔會成口油,而且都唔係好奶姐,可以用清甜黎形容bor,真係有少少意外。

 小籠包:皮唔係我食過最薄既,不過都唔錯。餡夠熱,包入面既湯好清,所以唔會覺得個小籠包溜。我都食左三隻。

 咸肉菜飯:因為食左三隻小籠包,所以自己食唔落,不過其他人話唔錯。
 菜肉雲吞:可能其他餸太精彩,所以覺得依味餸有少少平凡。

非常滿意既一餐:滿分

So I came here for a friend's dinner. Hadn't been here in ages and was looking forward to getting some soup dumplings. Here is what we ordered: 1) Soup dumplings (小籠包): These were really delicate and flavorful. Reminds me of the 小籠包 at Din Tai Fung (鼎泰豐). 3) Sauteed minced chicken with pine nuts in sesame pockets (崧子雞米配叉子燒餅) - I liked this. Portion was a little small but it was tasty. We ate them nice and quick since I read somewhere the sesame pockets get cold kind of quickly.

4) Sauteed river shrimp (清炒虾仁): The shrimp looked a lot smaller than I was used to. Not a bad dish.

5) Kung Pao Chicken (宮保雞丁): My friends decided on this dish. Generally speaking I don't particularly like nuts in my dishes but this worked ok. The chicken had a nice little kick to them flavor wise.

6) Mango Pudding (芒果布丁): Taste was pretty nice but it came with some whip cream on top which is a little different from the usual condensed milk. Not bad.

Service: Prompt and attentive.

Overall a nice meal. Portions were a little on the small side but when the bill came I was pretty surprised it was only $250 each.

今晚嘗了一間係金鐘的上海菜,竟然有‘乞丐雞’吃(也稱叫化雞/Beggar's Chicken),感覺已經失傳好久的菜,在這里吃到了. 雖然不如往年的美味,不過還有餐廳做已經算很難得了。上桌的時候可以讓客人用錘子(他們叫富貴錘/Hammer)琢開, 里面是原只雞,waiter會非常貼心地把所有骨頭和皮都挑出來讓客人品嘗。 值得一試,提醒一下,要提前一天預訂哦。前菜叫佐 钵钵雞、熏魚(Smoked Fish), 個钵钵雞我唔多鐘意,因為有花生醬;熏魚比較到味,唔錯。主食有我最鐘意的龍井蝦仁,非常好味啊,一定要叫!仲有炒年糕,干煸四季豆和筍,還有個荷葉包住的肉,可惜不是我點的菜,菜名都不知道。Come to yè shanghai Hong Kong and Kowloon to enjoy the famous jingjian tong baos - available all April. 呢個小籠包,的確一絕,好多湯,點D姜蓉鎮江醋,連我不是小籠包迷也要愛上吃了。服務非常不錯,周末都很滿座,幾乎都係鬼佬,所以最好提前訂位。夜上海已經開業7年了,現在惠顧午膳可以8折。

The food in this Shanghai Restaurant will polarise people - that's a given. A lot of the Shanghai or Beijing dishes here are way too light and not fatty enough, not tasty enough to satisfy a lot of Chinese or Hong Kong eaters whose palates can't taste the light, complex flavours here nor see the underlying preparations that has gone into the food.In reality, if one studies carefully, each dish here has been 'designed' very carefully, with multiple layers of flavours and complexities combined int

The food in this Shanghai Restaurant will polarise people - that's a given.
A lot of the Shanghai or Beijing dishes here are way too light and not fatty enough, not tasty enough to satisfy a lot of Chinese or Hong Kong eaters whose palates can't taste the light, complex flavours here nor see the underlying preparations that has gone into the food.
In reality, if one studies carefully, each dish here has been 'designed' very carefully, with multiple layers of flavours and complexities combined into the dishes - very good value for money if you ask me. Although obviously the execution is always flawed with Chinese chefs mentalities (even in 3 Star Lung King Heen) - so when the flavours are lighter like the dishes here, the flaws have no masking to cover its tracks. DON'T BE FOOLED by this common mistake as a eater.
FOOD:
The Xiao Loong Bao - bad presentation, sizes different. Nowhere near as uniform as the Ding Tai Fung's 18 folds. Upon eating one however, I was surprised at how naturally sweet and how much soup there was in the little dumpling. Skin looks thick, but is actually quite thin. Not as thin as the 'wonton skin' Din Tai Fung ones obviously but I like them here much better. Taste of pork was sweet, but very subtle. You had to search for it but once you locate it, it lingers for minutes! Most other shops' Xiang Loong Bao's flavours including Jade, Taiwan's Din Tai Fung outlets (but not HK branch), etc, all have artifical flavours. Here its natural.
Rice Cone with Scallops - interesting, fresh vegetables and scallops taste. Like it.
Smoke Eggs - Very runny and tasty egg yolk. I would say the tea smoking flavour is not enough to be able to 'detect' it. Everyone complains about the same thing. I guess they could do with a heavier hand and roam free on this dish.
Ma Larn Tau - very good and fresh, tasty, natural. Not like most other shops, which uses flavouring and sesame oil to mask the natural flavours of this wonderfully fragrant vegetables. The anti-thesis to Din Tai Fung's version, which reeks of sesame oil. Slightly too sugary though.
Chicken Wonton with Broth - this was great, but not to my personal preference liking. It wasn't like the usual versions available in HK. Usually, its either chicken with a bit of bamboo shoot influence, as per traditional china. In HK, usually its mainly just hardcore chicken and bone taste broth. Here, they use too much Yunan Ham with the Chicken to make the broth. The chicken taste was deep too, but the ham was relatively too strong to my liking. But some people might love this? Strong flavour.
Spring Onion Cake - WOW. Light and fluffy, not overly oily. Spring onion filling also wasn't oily, wasn't too salty, just right. This is a very very good version Spring Onion cake but to the hardcore enthuasists, this is prob too light.
Also had some other things, can't remember at this moment.
Overall a nice, healthy Shanghainese style experience, also not expensive at all. Highly recommended for HEALTHY EATERS and those who treasure lighter style chinese food.

Probably won't recommend to 85% of people in Hong Kong however! Its not a normal restaurant, and not that authentic.

在假日到金鐘吃飯,本以為會很多人,可能是假期的最後一天,所以尚可以.第一次到太古廣場夜上海,菜式沒有特別之處.和平常的的一樣,只是環境優雅舒適.味濃是上海菜的特式,故此它亦是.相信香港人未必習慣.若是這地方以招待外國朋友就不錯.因為一次半次.所以今晚外籍人士特別多.

環境好嘈, 食物質素差過Marco Polo 果間, 茶都唔識自動加水. 甜品又唔夠尖沙咀多完化. 唔會再係呢到食o野.

呢度食野我覺得係豐多過足, 資料上應該改一改! 前一陣子...睇亞蘇見呢度有鰣魚食, 香港唔係太多地方有得食, 所以老公就帶我黎試下!老公book 左位, 不過係卡位唔係靠窗口位, 無所謂, 因為都係睇街景, 梳化又坐得舒服喎! 前菜係菜莆, $20, 幾好食, 亦即時叫了清蒸半邊鰣魚, $550, 我相信人家一定覺得我地好鍾意食魚, 二人食..真係幾多, 呢條魚既特色係蒸既時候連魚鱗蒸, 因為魚鱗貼住既魚皮下既脂肪蒸出黎時令魚肉肥美, 上菜時侍應先用刀起層魚皮, 蒸魚既汁好鮮美, 三件大冬菇亦好juicy, 條魚比較多骨, 可能有鱓 人唔敢食, 同埋都唔係成條魚既肉都滑, 有鱓 地方都有少少"鞋", 但比起其他魚就真係魚味濃郁...我地就狂風掃落葉, 掃哂! 除左呢個, 我地叫左個拌馬蘭頭, $48, 我以為鱓 味會好濃烈, 原來淡淡地, 質地乾身, 作為前菜都唔錯, 不過, 今晚主角係條魚, 佢就唔係咁起眼啦!埋單連茶, 白飯兩碗加一服務, $730! 下次會再黎, 不過, 只會試下其他上海菜式, 鰣魚咁貴, 試一次已滿足了!

 同一個月,竟然黎左兩次,但覺得重可以再幫襯,因為佢D冷盤水準唔錯,但一次唔叫得咁多款,上次最好食要數每月推介”羊羔”,賣相黑黝黝,但食落啫喱軟滑有緻,味道好,有唔少羊肉絲.但月尾喱次去到已經無供應,揀左”乾拌馬蘭頭”同埋又係每月推介”酒糟去骨鵝翼”,今次推介無上次咁好,唔覺有酒味,淨係食到拌菜子薑絲滲出汁液;而乾拌馬蘭頭係想試好耐的一味,食落挆得細碎,爽雜豆乾碎,整體鬆脆有獨特香味,原來菜鬆都咁好味. 砂碢雲吞雞(位),湯底係濃清雞湯,應該有落金華火腿絲落去熬(其實唔太覺陣味,但總覺得味道咁濃,湯色又略帶深應該係有加到),雲吞皮唔夠滑但尚可,整體算不俗. 上次食”獅子頭”覺得都唔錯,汁濃有肉味不嚡口,用黎拌麵或白飯會唔錯. 今次甜品試左”煎八寶飯”,無華亭咁好食但都唔差,邊位煎得唔錯,飯粒鬆脆,豆沙香甜(但份量可以多番些少),推介.

今天再找女友食午飯,選了這間環境不錯的上海菜。MENU選擇都幾多,我們點了一碗砂窩雲吞雞、蒜泥白肉、稻草札肉兩客、松子雞叉燒餅及葱油伴麵,重有竹蔗汁同薏米水。食物質素不差,可惜價錢略貴不成正比。可能地點的租金太貴吧!

其他推薦的有涼拌海參,鎮江肴肉和醬鴨。 對,我也知道是稍稍偏向了杭州菜風味,但是個人覺得這裡的杭菜似乎比上海菜作的更出色, 也不知是好事還是壞事了哈哈!

最後,提一提這裡的價錢是比一般的上海店高了一點,但論環境論服務論派頭一般的Shanghainese餐廳如小南國和翡翠等等跟這裡更本沒有可比性,如閣下想impress上司女友親家來這裡錯不了。 

一分錢必有一分貨,這裡開業數年,如無一定實力又怎會每人兩三百元吃點心也照樣晚晚爆滿了像我這樣的捧場客呢?

貴就貴過人,但又唔係話好好食.菜色普通,同出面其他出名的上海菜比都差唔多.蔥爆牛肉已經唔好食,其他都係普通啦.食返d平d例如:翡X小籠包,滬X園都值好多.

今日去咗夜上海食Lunch, 係一個食裝修嘅地方... 啲嘢食都幾貴。<br />我地叫咗酸辣湯、崧子黃魚、火腿津白、炆牛肉、担担麵、高力豆沙、一支花雕,都要$1500。<br />個魚幾好食,因為個汁好好味,連平時唔食魚嘅我都食咗一舊。個担担麵就唔太得,個湯好濃,但係啲麵就冇味。<br />貴就唔好話好貴,但係就無咩好嘢食...<br />每人$300
