I was in Tsing Yi area to visit a friend and dropped by the Maritime Mall for a late lunch. Menu offers a range of mostly various -don (Japanese rice with meat or raw fish toppings), a few udon choices, some side dishes and desserts. There is option to add a small salad, soup and appetizer to the rice for additional $15 or just a drink for $10.
I ordered the sumiyaki grilled chicken rice ($58) and a coffee (+$10) as wasn't very hungry.
The portion is not very big, just right for one person. Rice was perfectly cooked and slightly coated with teriyaki sauce. The topping of chicken pieces was well marinated and tender with raw shallots and onions that help to refresh the palate. The charcoal grilled flavor was not too strong.
The accompanying hot coffee was just a tiny cup but well brewed and satisfying.
Cleanliness of the surroundings and service were good, no complaints.
This is a pretty good and reasonably priced option that will try again next time, maybe one of their deep fried (katsu-don) offerings.
