Have not been back for a while, booked for a Friday night dinner for gathering among friends. We have a wonderful experience. Service is excellent. My favourite dishes for the night are the red pawn fettuccine ($468) - delicious sauce on perfectly cooked fettuccine with succulent red prawns, their signature dish, beef ragout tagliatelle ($268) - hearty ragout slow cooked infusing deep flavors into the tagliatelle, Norcina pizza ($248) - comfort food and love the creamy sausage and mushrooms toppings on crispy crust and the tuna tartare ($348) - fresh and vibrant seasoning makes the tartare stands out. 😋Value for money especially lunch. We booked via online for lunch and dinner in a month, both times service was good. Didn’t see chef Roland when we visited though. Ordered from the set lunch menu. My favourite dish is crab meat vodka pasta (very al dente and love the tangy tomato-cream sauce with a touch of vodka). The octopus potato starter (pairing so well with the sauce) and mushroom soup (fill with porcini aroma and taste are so rich) are excellent.Dinner menu offer more selections. Great vibe, manage to book a table at 7pm on a Friday night for special occasion. Love the Eggplant starter (slow-cooked eggplant until soft and tender served with slight smoky, nutty & spicy romesco sauce), Spanish egg tortilla (simple dish blend with egg & potato cooked in omelette style), Iberico ham paella (topped with fresh green snow peashreds), Chocolate warm cake with sea salt and olive oil (is well balanced with perfect harmony). Prawn taco ($40) is not bad (but prawn pieces are tiny), can skip the fish taco ($40). Mango mocktail is a bit pricy ($108). But overall very pleasant experience. Excellent queuing system via WhatsApp, no need to avoid visiting. We finally came back after lunching with the famous wagyu beef soup noodle when it first opened. Great vibe, food arrive fast. The crab meat omelette was superb, egg was fluffy packed with fresh and sweet crab meat. The Thai fried noodles with chicken was delicious, rice noodles is chewy fully wok heat and chicken is tender. We booked 6pm on a weekend night for dinner, menu was hand written in Chinese calligraphy style by owner Gil Jie. Dishes arrived on time, we returned table 7 mins before 8pm. Tables were a bit crowded and a usual busy scene, still had a wonderful experience with our of favourite dishes:-剁椒蒸龍躉背翅 (Steam Giant Grouper Fin with Chopped Chili): A spicy dish where fish is steamed with chopped chili peppers, delivering a kick of flavor. Can be spicier for our taste.-清湯崩沙腩 (Clear Soup Braised with Beef Brisket): Slow-cooked with clear broth with the best cut of beef brisket until tender. Delicious!-清炒芥蘭 (Stir-Fried Chinese Kale): A simple stir-fried dish made with fresh Chinese kale. Can use less oil.-薑蔥焗中蝦煎腸粉 (Shrimp with Ginger and Scallions with Rice Noodle Rolls): A delicious dish where shrimp is served with ginger and scallions, served over rice noodle rolls in hotpot style. Wish we ordered a bigger portion.-食神叉燒飯 (Char Siu Egg Rice): A rice hotpot dish of barbecued pork served with fried eggs. Sauce can be less sweet for adult taste but kids love it.-小炒王 (Stir-Fried King): It features a variety of dried seafood and vegetables stir-fried with bold flavours. Feel like Little Cove Espresso in Sai Kung this morning but didn’t want to drive all the way, decide to come and try this Kennedy Town branch again. It has improved compared to a few years ago when it’s first opened. We had the refreshing red dragon fruit smoothie bowl made with dragon fruit, banana, coconut milk, coconut, pomegranate, green apple, mixed seeds, and walnuts, plus my all-time favourites: Melbourne style coffee, free range egg your way (scramble eggs on sourdough) and shakshuka. I am a Chaat fan, finally booked Leela to try for dinner on weekend. My favourite a la carte menu items are Baked Chattinadu Samosa ($168), Lucknowi Tokri Chaat ($138), Tandoori mix platter includes pork ribs, chicken tikka, and paneer ($658), Hyderabadi Dal ($148), plain naan and butter naan. Booked this place for grandma birthday celebration, staff prepared a mini tofu cheesecake in advance. My favourites are the King Prawn (so fresh and cooking time is perfect), Hokkaido Scallop (in Japanese dashi style with the shell, love the soup with matching seaweed and mushroom), French Blue Lobster Pasta (the flavourful sauce is full of lobster/prawn flavour) and Amadai Fish (the skin is so crispy and the meat is so juicy). Food standards continue to be high. Service is excellent. We only seat in the open Teppanyaki space (not the private room), still very spacious and ventilation is excellent. A tiny lunch place above the Tsun Yip Cooked Food Market. Better go early or after 1:15pm to avoid queuing. Love the original version of the dumpling chicken pot, you can order the slight spicy version if u wish to try something different. You will also find all the ingredients surprisingly high standard especially the handmade dumpling and goji berries.
