I do not visit this place often, the Thai food is okay here, but for me it is just an average joint, although my companions often sing their praises for its green curry hence why we ended up in this restaurant. As for service, well..... trying to catch the one and only waitress (who I think is actually the owner) is an absolute nightmare. It takes well over 10 minutes to catch her attention, as she is too busy trying to do multiple things at the same time. When you do finally grab her attention her focus is somewhere else, hence why I ended up with no drink. After several attempts trying to get her attention I just gave up. The lady is so flustered everything seems to be so disorganised whether it comes to ordering or serving. My soup that was suppose to accompany my meal ended up on my table as I was just about to leave! This place needs some serious rethink on staffing issues.
The pork neck fried rice, is just a plain average. The rice was not aromatic, and was a little too soft. The taste was okay, just an edible average I guess.
My companions ordered green curry with pork, and green curry with vegetables, served with boiled rice. The green curry has a very strong lemongrass aroma, its consistency is veering towards watery. The sweetness of the curry and the lemongrass is the first thing that hits you, after a little while the spiciness kicks in, although its a good level of spiciness. It gets the okay from me, but a regular thumbs up from my companions.
An okay joint, for a not too often random visit.
