Since I worked just around the corner, Hysan Place has become my new destination for lunch option. My lunch at Izumi Curry last week was quite good, so I wanted to try out this new restaurant Wired Cafe today.3 of us ordered 3 mains and a dessert:. しゃこと高菜の明太子クリームパスタ Mentai Cream Pasta with Dried Young Sardines & Pickled Vegetables ($83) Weak in mentaiko flavor and certainly not creamy. I didn't mind the addtion of dried sardines and pickled vegetables, but overall the flavor was just bland. V

This pizza toast totally resembled the pizza bread you normally see at Japanese bakery shops (the $12 kind). Double decker didn't help as the bottom half was plain empty without any toppings or sauce. Soup tasted like canned Swanson chicken soup....King Taco ライス King Taco Rice ($83)
I was hoping that this would be a new fusion dish with Japanese interpretation of taco rice. Unfortunately this tasted like rice plate with a dry version of Hong Kong style Bolognese meat sauce. The meat was quite dry and eating the white rice and the diced tomato and greens together remained me nothing about taco at all. Very disappointed.抹茶わらびパフェWaffle Gelato Parfait, Green Tea Warabi Crumblings (65)
When they said "parfait" I would expect a little more layers of ingredients, like may be more corn flakes or crumbles. But this dessert came out in small portion with nothing special in taste or ingredients. I think I get better at Suzuki Cafe or Pokka Cafe.Overall, a very disappointing meal and I don't think I will come back.
