Went there with my boyfriend last week after roaming around SoHo to look for a place to have dinner. We saw the name of the restaurant and not being able to recall where we've heard it from, we entered and took a table. Only two other tables were occupied and three out of the six waiters there were wearing face masks. Being in the restaurant business, they should've known better not to go to work when they are not feeling well, since they would get in close contact with both food and customers.

Only two other tables were occupied and three out of the six waiters there were wearing face masks. Being in the restaurant business, they should've known better not to go to work when they are not feeling well, since they would get in close contact with both food and customers.
My boyfriend and I were also a bit surprised when we saw Chinese on the menu but ignored the fact nonetheless thinking that it wouldn't affect the quality of the food.
We ordered a set dinner for two that included a smoked salmon caesar salad, pan-fried foie gras, lobster bisque, escargots, pasta and fish for the main course, creme brulee and chocolate cake/vanilla ice-cream for dessert.
The foie gras, escargots and the salad were okay and they ended up being the best among everything we've tried that night. But they weren't that great either. By okay, I mean mediocre.
The lobster bisque tasted like it came straight out of a can, the pasta was soggy (definitely not a French style dish as well and my boyfriend even commented on how I could've done a better job than them even though I can't really cook) and the fish was way too dry.
It took them a long time to come up with the desserts so we kind of expected them to be a bit better. We were wrong.
The creme brulee was cold on one side and warm on the other. And the whole point of having the chocolate pudding/cake or whatever that was with ice-cream, is to put them right next to each other so that the heat of the cake would melt the ice-cream. However, they were placed at the opposite side of the plate and the ice-cream was extremely hard for us to have it together with the cake.
Apart from the food, the people who occupied the two tables there were very inconsiderate by being very loud during the whole meal that my boyfriend and I couldn't even hear each other most of the time.
For a French restaurant in SoHo, both of us were utterly disappointed and kindly urge people to not go.
