We were a party of three, including one friend who had just undergone dental surgery under local anaesthesia and was still experiencing numbness in her mouth. When placing our order, we clearly indicated that we only wanted to order a bagel with pecan and a chocolate muffin initially, as we needed to check with our friend before ordering anything further.
However, a staff member insisted, with a bad attitude, that all three of us must place our orders immediately. She was pushy and rude, even walking around us while we were eating and staring at us in a manner that made us feel extremely uncomfortable throughout our 30-minute stay.
Another staff member approached us with a payment machine and demanded that we order immediately, stating that we still needed to place an order even if we had a doctor’s certificate. This was said in a rude tone, despite the fact that we had only just begun eating our muffin and bagel.
This treatment was unfair, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. Customers should never be pressured or made to feel unwelcome. The poor attitude and behavior of the staff have left us feeling disrespected and disappointed.
