Wanted to find a kids-friendly restaurant which provide beer in Kennedy Town, that’s why arrived at The Little Creatures.
Food was fair, but the service was really poor. We ordered 3 main courses, 1 side and 2 drinks, the waitress didn’t have any eye contact with us all the way when we were making order and didn’t response much. We ordered 3 main courses, 1 side and 2 drinks, the waitress didn’t have any eye contact with us all the way when we were making order and didn’t response much. We tried to order a fruit punch which we didn’t notice was not on the menu, she just ignored us and shouted to us at the end saying “we don’t have friut punch!” then throw us the menu and said “only on the list!” We were so shocked about her manner, but we kept calm and waited for our food.
When the drinks arrived, we ask for a straw, and to our surprise, the other waitress came over in a poor manner too! She passed us the whole pack of straws, keep looking around herself and let us take one by ourselves!
The services really ruined a night out with my lovely family. The steak is good. The Stir Beef noodle was far too salty and oily, and the beef was over marinated. The seafood carbonara was not a traditional creamy style, but that’s fine since it is a light stir-fried one, but the dish was a little bit watery that made us doubt if the seafood was properly treated. The frites was short and thin and over deep-fried to taste quite dry and hard. Their signature beer would be the most enjoyable one on our order list.
When we expected a spacious place with great food but turned out to pay over $900 for just acceptable food with poor service that even worse than a local outdoor food stall, it was really a very disappointed experience.
