It was just after 2pm after we had a good stroll in Stanley. Saw this Saffron and thought we would give it a try. The bakery stuff "seems" freshly made but it was a disaster once we went for the chicken pie, a croissant and 2 mochas. The bill came to about $150.00.The staff took our chicken pie and put into the MICROWAVE!!! A "Freshly Made" pie does not need to be headed up in the microwave!!! Apparently THIS is NOT made fresh!!! And the taste was really STALE!!! We were very disappointed with

And the taste was really STALE!!! We were very disappointed with the Chicken Pie. And if you take a good look at the rest of the salads... they don't appear to be freshly made either.
However, we have to say the Croissant was good. A bit on the over-baked side. Yup. It is much darker than your normal croissants.
Overall the place is very messy...with toys and books and everything lying about everywhere. They wanted to create a "out-townish" look - but unfortunately it's turned out to be more like "trashy" look.
Service-wise was ok. Nothing to brat about. You can see they are short-staff...as it took quite a long time for them to serve a Microwaved Pie.
Repeat??? NO!! Will try other spots in Stanley...
