I had dinner with my husband last week at this rather small and cosy Japanese restaurant. I must say the food quality, presentation and the service were awesome and exceeded my expectation highly. We ordered an assorted Sashimi plate with varieties of toru, uni, scallop, tiger prawns, sardines and they were all so fresh which you could still get a smell of fresh sea water. For a top quality Japanese restaurant, I believe they should have high quality of both sashimi as well as hot dishes so we wanted to try out their tempura, grilled chicken, grilled ox-tongue and even grilled corn (as recommended by the waitress). They were all soooo delicious and we actually ordered the 2nd plate of grilled corn!
Of course, to my expectation, we finished literally ALL! Not only did I appreciated the food quality but I could also see the passion and heart that the chefs had put in. Well...it's not located in prime district like Causeway Bay so you won't even know that there's a brilliant restaurant located here!
I would certainly recommend you to give it a try. It's really worth the money. This is, by far, the best one that I had recently.
