I think I only come here for a couple of times a year, mainly to check out the new properties showroom. We found this food garden in between the II and III Olympics City so we have stopped by one of the restaurants for dinner. We then found out it's actually under Cafe Deco Group!! SCORE!!!!!The restaurant specialises in seafood, meat dishes and stone oven pizza. Why not have a glass of wine to start with? They do have some mid range wine from Chile sauvignon blanc to Tuscan merlot. I love this
We can't come here without ordering their seafood platter. It's a beautifully presented platter with different sea creatures including crabs, prawns, clams, sea whelks, oysters, scallops, and minced crab served with toasted baguette.
It's a mix of different seafood like calamari, sea whelks and more, mixed with some mango salsa. The salty taste is always a good match with the sweet and sour mango so it's no doubt that it is a good combination. Though the calamari doesn't have much taste at all, everything else was up to standard.

Then we have shared an oyster platter with freshly shucked oysters from different countries and for sure my favourite goes to Gillardeau. I didn't get the chance to try everything but I can surely say that they are absolutely fresh. By the order from light to strong taste, it's a great way to find out your favourite kind of oyster, weather it is light, savoury, creamy, or crunchy.
We were told that it is the restaurant's signature dish. The whole giant piece of crab cake is seasoned with some mixed herbs and pepper. It's housemade so you can see the shredded crab meat once you break it apart. It's a little bit dry for my liking but the taste is still not bad.
Nothing beats a good old salad to freshen up our palette before some hot dishes. It's indeed a good salad with a few pieces of perfectly seared scallops, orange wedges and creamy sliced avocado. It's almost a never failing match as long as all the ingredients are fresh and they do! I particularly liked that they added some chopped walnut pieces to promote an extra nuttiness and crunchiness to the salad.
It's no surprise that a seafood restaurant to serve thier mussels in a nice manner. A big pot is filled with small mussels in white white wine garlicky sauce, served with baguette and cream on the side! I am kind of surprised that they serve cream on the side but I have to admit that it's a smart move as not everyone like cream and you can create your own bite based on your own liking.
The size of the mussels do not have to be big as smaller ones like the South of France ones are the best ones I have ever had. This one is still very enjoyable but I have had better ones before. The white wine sauce is very delicious with a good seafood taste, I wish I can have more bread for me to soak up all the flavourful juice!
A very classic French dish that may freak some people out. As a foodie, I am a good fan and I honestly haven't had escargot for quite some time. The dish has been baked until golden brown and the taste of escargot is on point! I wish there is a more pesto sauce which is a more authentic way as the French do it!
Hawaiian pizza $98
Since we still have more dishes coming so we have picked a rather lighter pasta to share. The tagallini is almost cooked through with just a little bit of al dente texture. The shaved cheese and truffle paste lifted up the taste of this simple pasta and not to mention that the prawns are big and crunchy.
One of my favourite dishes of the night. It's like an innovative paella with just a thin layer of rice soaked up all the different seafood flavours yet broiled until slightly crispy on the edges. The bottom part of the rice has a mix of fluffy and crunchy texture. Meanwhile, the seafood on top is just as good as other dishes. Who doesn't love more seafood in our lives.
A another pretty heavy seafood dish with a mxi of shell fish and more. Didn't really had a lot of it as I wanted to save my stomach for other meat based dishes but I can guarantee you that you will have no disappointment ordering this.
This fish is quite nice and light in taste. It doesn't have a strong buttery taste yet the sauce complimented this white fish nicely. It has already been cooked through all the way but the flesh is still so flaky that it is falling apart. The breadcrumb on top give a bite to this piece of moist fish. The smooth potato mash on the side is super creamy and smooth, a great pair with the tender fish.
I think pork ribs is a lot of people's favourite. It is sticky. It has a strong flavour. And it is fun to tear those succulent meat off the bone. The seasoning is quite nice because at least it is not too overly sweetened, savoury, nor spicy. It's just the way I like it. Besides, there are many pieces in a single serving so it's the best kind of dish to share with a group of friends.
The steak has been grilled with a sexy grill mark, and it's been prepared until with a pink centre. It's a good cut of meat and it is very juicy with just a stripe of fat on top, though the beef flavour is not particularly strong, it is still a good lean protein choice on the menu. I also like their demi glace sauce served on the side which gives an extra smokiness to the beef.
My absolute favourite dish of the night because it's very tender with just a little of gamy taste. The crust is nice and not overly burned. The lamb chop is cooked with two bones together, allowing the juice to be trapped inside the meat , which is better than just prepare it on a single strip of bone. The meat is even more succulent than the steak and it has taken us by surprise towards the end of the meal.
Last but not least, a dessert platter has brought to us for sharing.
Baileys cheese cake - the texture is slightly firmer with a little bit of crumbly texture, probably because of the baileys in it. The baileys taste is prominent, giving an extra milky coffee taste to it.
Cherry compote - it is a sweeter option with a warm softened bed of cherry at the bottom, complimented with a crunchy crumble top. And how can you not love their decent ice cream?
Chocolate lava cake - it doesn't look like any normal lava cake but my friend loved it because it has a very unique chocolatey flavour which is not too sweet. The chocolate ice cream next to it is also really quality as you can literally found pieces of chocolate flakes in it.
